Andrew and his team arrived promptly on time and he explained exactly what they would do. They cleaned my roof thoroughly and applied fungicide protection then pointed any areas where it was required. Cleaned up all the mess including anything which may have landed in my neighbours and were very courteous and professional throughout. Very pleased with the work and would happily recommend.

Second time using this company so must be happy with them. Arrived as planned and set up covers for garden areas and pots to protect them. Then the roof cleaning -which is quite a noisy process -then clean up before final fungicide coating. They cleaned down windows, walls and floor areas and left with us delighted with our clean roof. What a transformation! The guys were quick, efficient and tidied the surrounding area completely before leaving. The roof looks like new; from a horrible, mossy brick orange to a modern anthracite grey. If you are considering a new roof, check out this method of restoration before spending unnecessary money. When choosing a company for home improvements, we generally use those we know personally, or who have been recommended to us. In the case of Rooftex, we heard about them through a leaflet that came through our door. We gave them a call and Andrew came round to measure up and to give a quote for a full set of fascia replacements. He seemed professional and on-the-ball, so we went forward with them. The work was completed yesterday (only a couple of weeks after getting the quote), and Rob and the team who came have done a fabulous job. We are delighted with their work and attitude, they even carried on fitting the fascias despite the weather turning for the worse half way through the day. A gold star all round for Rooftex and the team.

When I was looking to get my roof coated a neighbour recommended Rooftek. I got several quotes, Rooftek was the most expensive, others less so but their attitude/interest was not good. Andrew was very attentive and helpful, so I went for them. They turned up exactly on time, were very courteous and friendly and got on with the job and cleaned up before leaving. Several days later I reported a problem to Andrew who replied he would rectify the next time he was in my area. As experienced before with other trades they fail to turn up, but not Rooftek, They came back , no hassle and fixed the problem. DM. Musselburgh. August 2024

The tiled roof on my bungalow had a lot of moss growing and it looked untidy, with lumps of moss continually dropping off to the ground and with most of it falling into the guttering both blocking the flow and the rainwater downpipes and was needing regular clearing. I have had door visits by various salespeople offering cleaning and treating but I never felt comfortable with their 'sales pitch'. Speaking to Andrew from Rooftek it was obvious from the start that he knew his business so I asked him to quote a price to clean, inspect/fix, treat, and coat the tiled roof, and to fit drip trays all around the eaves. His quote was reasonable and after accepting the job, it was fully completed the following week. The team laid sheets around the building covering the garden plants, decking, etc. and despite it being a very messy process they cleaned up wonderfully afterwards and left no mess. A few days later Andrew applied the 2 top coats of the Renotec coating to the tiles, which will seal protect and inhibit any moss re-growth. The work has a 10-year warranty from a well-established company. I was very satisfied with the whole process - initial discussion, quote, communication, work, and the finished job. Andrew and his team were all great - hardworking, quick, efficient, and polite. The roof now looks great and I have no hesitation in recommending Rooftek.

Andrew and his team were very friendly and responsive. They showed up promptly and worked quickly, and did a thorough job of cleaning our roof - it has made a great improvement.

An excellent company who will revitalise your tired roof from old to knew and I think you will be happy with the end result. The staff were hard working and nice guys and even kept working through a thunderstorm ! I had tried another company who arrived with a threadbare wire brush for two 4 hour days and wanted £2,900 so you can imagine my answer and they had to go. Rooftek are not cheap but you get a 10 year guarantee and as we all know, you get what you pay for ! I would have no hesitation in recommending them and I am not easily impressed !

Very impressed with Rooftek Ltd. I would highly recommend their services. Very easy to deal with to obtain quotes. Job was scheduled very quickly. The team who turned up to complete the job were just lovely - hard working and did a lovely job of cleaning the moss on house roof and summer house roof as well as cleaning the gutters. Very impressed with the standard of the work and especially the cleaning up of all the mess generated by the moss removal as both my property and the next door neighbours property were left with out a trace of moss Thank you for a great service!
