Nice a hotel & beautiful area ☺ The property is lovely, staff were lovely very helpful. It’s clean. Beautiful area & close to my sister who had just lost her husband. ☹ We had an accessible room, it had a wet room. As the hotel has a lot of stairs & large foot print. We were unable to walk through. We were advised to park at the back were maintenance are, it has a pathway but not perfect. Think it could be a better area to park, I needed a lot of help from family getting Mum in & out. We then drove around to the other side to get to the restaurant.

Very nice ☺ Quite quiet

Really brilliant party, but the quality wasn't quite there to justify the price. ☺ Location was great. Bed was very comfy and had good choice of pillows. Wall sockets had USB slots which was really handy, and was nice to have control of the lights from in the bed. Was great to have lots of smaller function rooms, and they had several Christmas parties at once. Breakfast was OK, would have preferred the bacon and sausages to be a bit more cooked, hash browns were banging though. ☹ Wanted to have a bath but couldn't because the bath was far too small. We were packed in like sardines for dinner. Couldn't push my chair back to stand up because of the person behind. The dance floor was also designed for about half the number of guests that wanted to go on it.

Good ☺ Breakfast was very nice , can’t fault this ☹ The food for the party on the night was absolutely vile. Cold food. Undercooked food , and dessert was simply disgusting. The breakfast was really nice! If you’re going to cater for big groups of parties you really need to get the food right.

Not worth the cost of the room. ☺ Very friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was very good. Great location for total peace and quiet. ☹ Having booked a superior room for that added birthday treat, no bathrobes were provided. The complimentary room snacks, tea and coffee making facilities were not replenished at all during our stay. There was a bottle of shower wash/shampoo and a bottle of handwash.... but not even a glass in the bathroom for use when cleaning your teeth! When we did bring a glass to the room for this use it was then removed by the room attendant. To be honest 2 bags of popcorn, 2 small bags of crisp type snacks and 2 mini cans of pop really was not worth the extra money spent on a superior room for a 3 night stay. I have had so much more provided and replenished from other hotel superior rooms.

Good hotel, good food. ☺ Great hotel with good food, comfy rooms and friendly staff. Great value for money. ☹ Can’t think of anything.
