Really happy with the service from Shaws. I’ve used them a few times now for boiler serving and plumbing and every time, i’ve experienced a really professional and friendly service. Booking a visit to uninstall and install gas cooker was a breeze with Angelo.
Chris turned up empty handed ( toolboxes do exist!) and immediately put off starting the job. Gave us complete verbal diarrhoea about his refusal by coming out with complete rubbish about new regulations (placing the cooker cable above the counter), which upon further research we found that it doesn’t exist. He attempted to prove himself by showing us the cabinet clearance dimensions, confusing it with his reasoning. We felt humiliated and treated like idiots. He was very abrupt and unprofessional. We would understand if Chris was having a bad day but don’t bring it to customers. 1 out 5 for turning up on time.

Hi Agnieszka, sorry for the experience you had on the day, with the removal of your gas cooker ready for when your new cooker arrives, as we did not carry out any works at your property, just advised you about the clearances, the power cable and the bayonet and hose.
There was no charge and the engineer left.

Friendly and reliable from first contact. Chris makes the job straightforward and if a problem is encountered, then explains it in a simple way that is easy to follow. Just had boiler serviced but previously he has sorted out radiators and replaced hot water tank. Very pleased with the work.

Excellent service. I called this morning to replace a ball valve and fit a new shower mixer tap. Fortunately there was some time and Chris came over in the afternoon to carry out the work. Everything works fine now, no mess and very happy.

I contacted Shaw’s plumbing and heating via their website very late on Thursday evening. The next morning when I got up there was a response saying they could come today (Friday) and informing me of the associated costs. I replied requesting they come and they were with me by around 11am. They efficiently solved the problem and finished within an hour. The staff I had contact with were all very polite and efficient in doing things. I would rate them 10 out of 10 in all areas.

Wanted to post a review due to excellent service from Shaw's Plumbing. We've used a couple of times over the last year now - really good and quick communication by email. Have turned up exactly when promised and even called to check, but arrived early one of the times. Able to attend next day on both occasions - even though one of the times I messaged on a Sunday evening - Chris was there at 9am the next day. Polite professional service - wouldn't hesitate to use again. Highly recommended.

Angelo and Chris responded very quickly when we had a couple of leaking taps. Communication was excellent and the job was completed very quickly for a reasonable cost. Certainly won’t hesitate to use again for any plumbing needs. Highly recommended if you need a plumber.

As ever, Chris and Angelo did a great job. They fitted a new boiler with the minimum of fuss and mess. They were always punctual and worked quickly on what was, in our house, quite a complex task. Chris explained everything clearly in advance, there were no nasty surprises over costs, and their standards of workmanship are very high. They are 100% reliable and I would always recommend them.
