Big disappointment with dishonest business I was supposed to rent a Corvette V8 from Sincity Slingshots through Groupon. Before purchasing the Groupon, I called their office to see if the car was available on that date. However the associate, Jordan told me NOT to buy the Groupon, and he said that they could give me the same rate if I paid the rental-car fee over that phone call right now. I was very suspicious of why the associate attempting to me not to purchase through Groupon. I then requested to speak with the upper management, and then the business owner, Justine called me. He explained to me that the subject car was available so I decided to purchase the Groupon. Today, the merchant suddenly sent a text message stating the car was not available. I was shocked by what they informed me in the last minutes, so requested to call me ASAP from both Justine and Jordan, but none of them gave me a call. I then contacted their office phone number and they picked up my call which means they could call me. Now the merchant is dishonestly stating if I contact Groupon, I may be able to get a refund but that is NOT their business. The rent-a-car is not available anyway on the reserved date. I've already paid the fee through my credit card, but now up on the air whether they will surely grant my refund request through Groupon. They are a very dishonest business, I am unable to reach out to the merchant at this moment, because my phone number may have been blocked by the merchant, and I have no way to communicate with them. If they have a business with you, they will put a smile on their face, but once out of the frame, they will give you misery. This was their fault NOT me, one of the guests. They should sincerely accomocate issues that were caused by their incident.
