Great experience! I have used many different airlines in the past but only a few came close to the service that was offered by Singapore Airlines. As I have never been to Asia before, it was not easy to distinguish between low-budget airlines like AirAsia, ThaiLion or ThaiVietJet and high quality airlines such as ThaiAirways, ANA or Singapore Airlines. I flew in an Airbus A350 which offers lots of space, great on board entertainment and pretty comfortable seats. Even though, my flight was only 2h, we received a warm towel in the beginning followed by a full meal mid-flight. The flight attendants were extremely professional and polite. Flying with Singapore Airlines is for sure more expensive than the low-budget airlines - nevertheless there is no discussion about luggage or any extra pricing that you are not aware of.

Very good economy class flight Recently flew with Singapore Airlines from Hong Kong to Perth, Australia with layover in Singapore. Flight was booked online, check-in, flight boardings and luggage retrieval were all smooth and easy. Flights left on time, seats were comfortable, decent legroom, good meal service and entertainment. Layovers at Changi Airport were just fine. One long enough to go out and enjoy Jewel for a bit of a leg stretch and enjoyable way to burn through a few hours before reentering the restricted airside area of the airport to board ongoing flight. Overall, just very good economy class flight.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN AVIATION INDUSTRY - AVOID Probably the worst experience in aviation I have had. cancelled my flight, put me on an 6am flight which now resulted in a 4hr wait. No offer of compensation for the fact that I have to get a taxi instead of public transport and that I have to wait 4 hours in the airport as they cancelled the flight. Called 4 times to customer service and there response was either accept the earlier flight or cancel the booking. Despicable behaviour from what is claimed as a Tier 1 airline. AVOID this airline and use someone like Emirates or Etihad.

Not premium Singapore Airlines sells itself as a premium product among premium airlines. Our flight was on an A350, which is a beautiful plane but the seating in economy was very congested and cramp. The cabin crew were very professional and well-trained. However, they were very fierce when "ordering" passengers to fasten seatbelts, put seat upright and pull up window shades, like a headmistress disciplining pupils. Inflight entertainment was very extensive and good. The huge letdown was the meal service. It was not a meal but a cheap snack. They claim the paper box, paper cups and bamboo utensils are environment-friendly but I wonder how true this is because the paper box and paper cups need to be lined with synthetic material to withstand high heat. It wasn't really a meal as it was without appetiser, portion was inadequate (I had to go for a proper meal immediately upon landing) and quality of food was low. To top it of, serving wine and alcoholic beverages in a paper cup is just plain silly. A huge part of the taste perception is where you drink it from. When you're served in a transparent plastic glass, you could still imagine it is a wine or brandy glass, but in a paper cup? -- it tastes like sour juice. Another big issue is lack of personnel. By the time we at the back got served, the plane was about to descend, and we could not enjoy any beverages. We waited for ages and ages for our food, and again ages and ages for any beverage to be served. We were really disappointed that we could not have a proper meal experience on board, nor even enjoy a couple of glasses of wine. But at least we did have a cinema experience by watching a movie while waiting for our meal (snack) or drinks that seemed never to arrive. I would say: Singapore Airlines is not worth it unless there is a huge discounted fare.

No drinks/food served until the last 30min before landing Worst service ever. Drinks and food were only served to our side about 30 minutes before landing. We had to rush to finish the food/drinks within minutes as plane was already descending and pilot announced they were preparing for landing. Also, Flight was delayed but no drinks were served until the plane was prepared for landing. It was chaotic. Not sure what the team was doing. Definitely doesn’t worth the S$800 paid for the 2.5 hours flight.

The worst flight stewardess ever Me and my friend just got the worst experience with this flight stewardess at theSingapore T3 airport. She cuts into my friend's line in the ladies room for the make up mirror. When my friend ask her, she rolled her eyes and say psyco - excuse me? When my friend tries to photo her name tag, she pushed my friend make up bag on the floor. This is so unbearable and unbelievable. I’m so mad! I've never see a staff this rude before!!!

Excellent service on a long flight Total flight was Sydney to Amsterdam, but this leg was 13 hours on an A350. The business class seats are in a 1-2-1 configuration and are very wide and spacious, and cleverly designed to give a good lie-flat bed when reclined. Flight was a bit late arriving, due firstly to headwinds and secondly due to re-routing to avoid the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East. Service was excellent, cabin crew friendly and helpful.

One of the best in the world today Wow, what a pleasure. Flight took off late, but did land on time, which these days can be a bit of a rarity. But what sets Singapore Airlines is it's service. From the ticket counter to the baggage carousel, everyone we came into contact with was helpful and professional. We had booked economy, but a couple of days before our flight, we received an email offering to upgrade to premium economy (at a price). Considering it was a 15 hour flight, the longest we had ever been on, we paid a $450 per ticket upgrade. Pricey, but I think worth it in the end when you consider that's $30 an hour. When we got to the airport, we were given extra legroom seats, a $125 upgrade for free! Lucky us. Our one disapointment was the food. We were able to choose from a select menu that sounded really good, but ultimately, tasted just like most airline food, bland and tasteless. Our biggest surprise though were the restrooms. Yes, really. The cabin crew kept them clean throughout the flight. Trash was emptied. Pee was wiped up. Paper towels were restocked and after 12-13 hours, they looked nearly as good as they did at the beginning of the flight. Been flying for nearly 50 years and never saw that before! (Unfortunately, the crew of flight 28, our return back to Seattle didn't keep the restrooms nearly as clean). And with easy connections made through Changi, Singapore Airlines has shown why it's one of the best airlines in the world today!

Disappointing Premium Economy experience We flew Air New Zealand's Premium Economy from Auckland to Seoul (NZ75) in September 2023, and Singapore Airlines' Premium Economy from Narita to Singapore (SQ11) in October 2023. The SQ11 Premium Economy offering was disappointing/under-whelming when compared to the NZ75 Premium Economy. The only reason we flew Premium Economy was for the extra legroom and comfort from having the increased space between our seats and the row in front on a long duration flight. SQ11 disappointed us in this important aspect of our flight experience. Getting in and out of the seat was uncomfortable -- even with an aisle seat, I was practically hovering over the passenger in the seat in front of me, which is no different from a Economy offering on any other airline. And, for my wife to leave her middle seat, I had to get out of my seat in order for her to have any chance of getting out to the aisle... when I compare this to our NZ75 experience, she had ample space to just walk out of her seat with me only just moving my knees slightly to the side. The amenities pack itself was also rather ho-hum...not that we would have paid more "premium" amenities. Toilet facilities are also shared with the Economy cabin; one would have thought paying a "premium" price for the flight would have offered us a bit more convenient toilet facilities given that the Premium Economy cabin was not that sizeable relative to the rest of the Economy cabin. So, in all, I would not pay to experience Singapore Airline's Premium Economy again, and I would not recommend their Premium Economy to any of my friends (they may as well save their money and just flown Economy if they had to choose Singapore Airlines).

Experienced the New Singapore Airlines. I flow First Class from Sydney to Singapore and Business from Singapore to Dubai, and the same classes return. The Check in at Sydney was quick and easy. The seats on the aged B777 where the same approx than SIA old business Class seats. I pre-ordered the main meal a steak with pepper sauces. The same dish is also available in Business Class. Highly recommendable. But that was it on spectacular cuisine on Singapore Airlines. The cuisine on the reminding flights where not eatable even the tenderloin on the way back in First Class. The service on the Sydney Singapore leg was the best. On the other legs where Singapore Airlines used to say "other airlines talk about" was completely missing. Furthermore the seat configuration in their business class going into deep cost cutting mode. The wide seat has disappeared and the small width is there now. All over all is Singapore Airlines very pricey, in the high upper range. I must omit that the service and product at either Emirates or Qatar are much better and also better priced.

Amazing service, will definitely being flying with Singapore Airlines in the future My daughter's flight from Athens to Singapore was delayed which caused her to miss her connecting flight to Sydney. In landing she was very upset as she was travelling by herself. When she disembarked the flight a Singapore staff member was waiting for her, she was placed on the next flight which unfortunately 10hrs away, so Singapore Airlines put her up in a hotel with transfers and a lunch voucher. As a parent this took away all my worries that they had looked after her so well.

Toujours bien.
