When we first moved into our brand new build, this man refinished (painted) our bathroom and kitchen cabinets. He assured us that he was using the best method possible, and even took the cabinets to his shop to do work on them (spray them). they looked great at first. Within months, however, the paint was chipping on all of them, and we contacted him for help. He came and touched up a few, told us that he looked into it, and ultimately claimed that he must have gotten a “bad batch of paint.” We did not purchase the paint, however, HE did, from HIS supplier. Pictures of the current status of our cabinets are below, although they began looking like this within 6 months of his paint job. It has continued to get worse with time. It is obvious he did not sand these down before spraying, as you can see the original builder grade paint/varnish under each chip (ugly orange color). Sanded wood would be very light in color. It was a rushed job, plain and simple. Some retouching is all we were ever offered, and our cabinets continue to chip and peel, looking awful. He stopped taking our calls when we asked for a full repainting to replace the bad paint. We paid nearly $4000, and I want to save anyone else the hassle and waste that we have faced. Jason was great. He was very professional and did an amazing job of protecting all of my new flooring and appliances during the painting process. The finish is better than the original! I can't believe the difference it made. 100% would recommend him for your painting needs.
