We had a most memorable day with Heather. The best way to experience San Francisco. We will have to come all the way back from Australia to see her again! Can’t recommend more highly. Thanks so much Heather for a fabulous time.

Highly recommend! We are a family of 3 kids (ages 12, 10 and 7) and Heather was fantastic! We did the half day SF tour and the Muir Woods tour on two separate days. Even before arriving, Heather communicates with you to find out what you are looking to get out of the tour. I was worried because it can be tough balancing the educational aspects of a tour with kid wiggles and boredom but she’s a pro. Lots of good info about the city and redwoods with appropriate time to get wiggles out/bathroom breaks/coffee breaks for mom and dad, etc. We have done 5 private tours as a family and my kids all agreed that this was the best. Yes, a private tour is pricey, but you will be impressed with how much you get to see and how personalized this can be to your likes. Honestly, she feels less like a tour guide and more like a friend showing you around! Highly recommend! Thanks Heather!

We arrived in San Francisco on Monday and decided we’d do a Best of San Francisco full day tour on Tuesday. Chris was waiting for us at our hotel at 9am but suggested he point out some landmarks before we left our hotel. We immediately recognised Chris’s amazing knowledge of the city, as he explained some of the history of the Bay. Chris then proceeded to show us special landmarks and again explained the history. Our first coffee stop was at the Fairmont. It was simply stunning, and the Christmas decorations are beautiful. After another history lesson, we stopped for coffee and we loved roaming the hallways, walking outside in the gardens and taking in the magnificent views. There could not have been a better start to our day. And, it just got better. Chris tailored the whole day around our questions and interests. It was a wonderful day and it provided us with lots of ideas of things to do for the rest of our stay. The company is run very professionally and I would highly recommend this tour to friends and family. We look forward to coming back!

We visited iconic spots like the Tesla Factory in Fremont, the Apple Park Visitor Center, the Computer History Museum, and the Stanford campus. What really set this tour apart was Chris’s incredible depth of knowledge and passion for the area. Along the way, he shared fascinating insights and stories about Silicon Valley's history, the companies we associate with it, and even little-known facts that made the tour feel truly unique.

Having lived in the area before, I thought I knew quite a bit about Silicon Valley, but Chris proved me wrong in the best way possible. He made the tour just as engaging for me as it was for my dad, who was visiting for the first time. The comfortable Tesla ride and Chris's friendly, professional and engaging attitude made the whole experience super fun and enjoyable.

If you're considering a tour of Silicon Valley, I cannot recommend Spark Experiences and Chris enough. It’s a perfect blend of education, exploration, and fun—an absolute must-do!

We flew all of the way from Australia and were only in San Francisco for 3 days. We used the city as a bit of a "gateway: to get us and our children to LA for the Disneyland experience as that was the main purpose of our trip.

I found Heather and the Spark Experience company on google based solely on the reviews. And I can honestly say that the reviews about Heather are 100% correct.

She is amazing and full of enthusiasm and kept us intrigued for both of our entire tours (even with a jet lagged family. Which is really something!!).

But more importantly Heather is full of knowledge and excitement about the city she lives in and loves.

Heather was our tour guide for the day in San Francisco! She made the trip so enjoyable. Heather is extremely intelligent and gave us so much history on San Francisco. Walking into San Francisco I didn’t have the best idea what to expect, but she definitely made my fall in love with the city! I have learned so much about San Francisco and forever grateful for it! We wanted a tour that hit all of the sights in San Francisco with Alcatraz in the afternoon. A real challenge but Heather knew exactly how to go about it and we had a great relaxing tour where we learnt so much about the city. We covered a lot of ground and even went to Sausalito for lunch which is not to be missed. We have done quite a few city tours over the last few years and this was by far the best we have done. Superbly organised with a relaxed and funny host. We wish we were staying in San Francisco longer!

Wonderful experience. Booked two tours on consecutive days for a family of 4. Guide was so knowledgeable and accommodating. Really took the stress out of touring a crazy place like SF! Really can’t stress how much we enjoyed Heather. She was a true pro and funny as well!! Always early to our hotel and so thoughtful about how to spend our time wisely.
