A lovely relaxing break at Stable Oak, great accommodation and friendly and helpful host. Personal touches throughout and delicious bread, eggs, cakes, milk etc on arrival. The wood fired hot tub is perfect for a relaxing evening in the countryside. Enjoyed meeting all the animals and hope to return again. Thanks for a great stay.

We had the best stay here. The cottage was spotless. We arrived with a few extras waiting for us (the freshly baked bread was so good 👍) The hot tub is amazing and the host was very helpful! We had to call her twice to help us with something and she was there within a minute to help 😊 would definitely stay here again

Hidden little gem
Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The little touches such as freshly made bread, eggs and fresh milk all waiting for us when we arrived. Laurain greeted us when we arrived and was so welcoming! The hot tub was already being heated up when we arrived which again was a nice little touch. The Birch was so so clean, nicely presented and in the most perfect quiet location. There were alpacas, horses, sheep, a goat and a goose just in front of the cottage which is perfect for animal lovers! We were able to feed the alpacas and get close to the other animals as well. We even booked for 2 nights next year while we were there! I honestly cannot recommend Stable Oak Cottages enough. Thank you again x

Such a beautiful cottage and lovely hosts. We arrived and the hot tub was being heated for our arrival. We also arrived to fresh bread, muffins, milk, butter and eggs, which was so lovely and thoughtful. The cottage was spotless and had everything we could have possibly needed, including robes and sliders for use of the hot tub. The local pub was lovely and only a 15 minute walk, with a Co-op next door. Overall we had a lovely stay and will 100% be returning and recommend g to friends and family 😊. Thank you Laurain & Mick!

I had a great stay at my first farm hoilday the alpacas loved me and gave me kisses alltho the goat was not keen on me I still liked him.
The cottage was very warm and cosy and the homemade cakes the host made us smelt very yummy.
Can't wait to come back to see my new Alpaca friends again next year

Wood fired hot tub! Perfect!
Just got home from 4 nights staying in Oak Cottage. Just wanted to say how lovely this place is and how it feels home from home. Has everything you would need while away. Really comfortable and cosy. Laurain came and introduced herself after we had settled in and was really friendly and helpful. The wood fired hot tub was a big thing for us choosing this place and it was really good. Weather wasn’t too good last couple of daysbut soaking in the hot tub was really good. Location was good for us visiting the area. It’s tucked down a lovely little country lane and walking the dog was great as away from main roads. Will definitely recommend and will try to get down to Kent again soon and will definitely stay here again. Thanks Laurain.

Absolutely fantastic stay in Oak Cottage this weekend. The accommodation was beautiful and the hot tub fantastic. Such personal touches too such as real coffee, fresh bread and homemade cakes. Will definitely book again and highly recommend thank you.

What a lovely place, very clean and plenty of everything you’ll need when cooking during your stay. My children loved the animals and the outdoor space and Laurain was kind enough to let my children feed the animals. The hot tub was delightful with the lovely view of the North Downs with a great garden space. The added touch of fresh bread, milk, eggs and muffins was lovely thank you for a great stay we will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic week here. If you want to see Alpaca walking around every morning after you wake up, you must come and stay here. Laurain was always helpful and friendly. The cottage is located 15 min drive from Maidstone. The countryside landscape is stunning and the little walk around the cottage is highly recommended.

We stayed at the Oak Cottage for the last week August and it was perfect. The view of the alpacas with a backdrop of the north downs is spectacular, and the private garden is the perfect mix of modern and traditional styles.
The cottage itself was extremely clean and had everything anyone could need.
Having a hot tub was a great addition as was access to an even larger communal garden which my daughters loved playing in and they enjoyed seeing the goat, pig, sheep, and goose.
The bed in the main bedroom is very firm but the bed in the other bedrooms were more to our comfort.
Laurain and Mick were always on hand if needed.

Stayed here for a short break for two in Birch cottage and absolutely loved it. Such a relaxing place and the wood fired hot tub was the extra touch to make it even better.
Super clean and very comfortable. Lovely clean bathroom and pretty decor touches throughout. Bed was lovely and comfy.
Kitchen well stocked with crockery and cutlery.
A fresh loaf, some eggs, milk and butter were all provided by the owner. We would definitely go back.

This is an absolute gem. We booked last minute for a one night stay. We were welcomed by Mick who gave us the run down on things.
The animals on the farm were being fed when we arrived so walked up to see them, and got to feed the alpacas.
We then headed inside the cottage to find homemade lemon drizzle cake waiting for us along with some bread, eggs and milk in the fridge.
The cottage was immaculate, everything you could need was there, iron, hair dryer robes towels etc.
We were blown away by our stay it was absolutely beautiful in a lovely peaceful setting.
The eco friendly hot tub made it even more relaxing.
We highly recommend and we can’t wait to stay again.

Wij hebben echt genoten! Het is een prachtige omgeving en heel kindvriendelijk. Voor de kinderen is er een groot grasveld waar ze lekker kunnen spelen. Het huisje is heel compleet en heeft veel ruimte. We werden warm ontvangen met heerlijke cake, verse broodje en eitjes.

A beautiful place with a lovely Hot Tub. The dog came with us too, and she loved running around in the field and eying up the Alpacas. We had the breakfast hamper, which was lovely too. All in all we had a peaceful and relaxing stay, and the accommodation clean and fresh. We met Mike who was vey helpful. We would definitely come again. Thank you for a fantastic short stay.
