"Not happy with the work done by Tailored Detail WëRKS" I engaged the services of Tailored Detail WëRKS for a ceramic coating on my car. My car had swirl and streak marks on it. I opted for a 6-year ceramic coating for my car and the work order had 'Paint inspection under professional lights and a paint depth gauge on painted panels' and 'One round of proper machine polishing to reduce light imperfections and increase paint gloss'. Naturally, I assumed, the swirl and streak marks will be gone. But that was not to be the case. The car ended up with a ceramic coating on top of the paint that had swirl and streak marks. With ceramic coating's extra gloss, the marks now are even more visible. When I checked with them about the issue, I was told that, in order to remove the swirl and streak marks, a paint correction work will need to be performed. That was not part of the deal. I understand, I did not opt for it but at the very least, I expected to be informed of it when the 'paint inspection' was done on the car. The paint inspection detail was not shared and had that been shared, I would have opted for paint correction because ultimately I wanted the ceramic coating be done on a clear paint surface. When I expressed my disappointment, I was advised to perform a 2-step paint correction that will reduce 85% light surface imperfections + a 3-year ceramic coating for a reduced price. While I appreciate the offer, I will prefer going to someone else to redo the coating. Overall, I regret my decision in engaging their services and this was an expensive "lesson learned"!

What a great experience! The team were super friendly. They reviewed my car with me prior to service. They were able to fully remove a scratch that was over 5 inches long and a couple inches wide. The car looks pristine and I am super happy that the scratch was able to be removed. Highly recommend if you’re looking for friendly, fast, efficient quality service! Great job guys!
