I don’t have pictures but let me tell you - this place is the absolute best - and their service is so good that you want to give them a 100% tip for their hospitality and warmth. It’s the kind of experience that leaves your stomach and heart full. We had a lovely host, who offered to take us through the best. The Musakan (Chicken on flatbread) has been my favourite (2nd time here - and in between I’ve had dreams about it). You must get it. The caramelised onions makes the whole bite melt in your mouth wanting for more. It’s topped with perfectly roasted almonds. We also ordered a Lentil and butternut squash soup/ stew will was brilliant. They offered complimentary flatbread so we ordered Mhammara. This was a treat. The star of the dish was a Harissa grilled chicken. It was rich, fulfilling and delightful. I’d go here again and again and again for this.

Ate here for the first time tonight and had one of the most wonderful meals! Staff was so kind and attentive, food was absolutely incredible. Must try the Knafeh!

Amazing food. Favorite restaurant in Brooklyn.

I got there a little late and they were still accommodating. I got the lamb shank and it was fall of the bone tender.

I grew up on this food, and this place did not disappoint overall. The grape leaves (warak einab) was the standout dish for me, as it was cooked perfectly in a well-made broth. The lamb shank special was okay, it was a bit under seasoned and under salted but was coked perfectly. The complimentary pickles and bread was appreciated, especially the one with delicious za’atar. The service was incredible, I felt like the staff extended the authenticity of the palestinian culture beyond just the food, but also the hospitality.

I guess it just wasn't our night. What ever we ordered was missing seasoning. Just generally bland. Kind of disappointing given the generally good reviews.

Tanoreen is one of NYC’s gems. The food, service, atmosphere all are beyond reproach. You will not encounter anything less than prime deliciousness. And flavors that are hard to find even in other Levantine restaurants

Been twice and been disappointed each time. Stuffed grape leaves undercooked, ‘shawarma’ was a disappointment, malfoof was ok, musakhan was the only thing that made me happy

I can confidently take my mother here for truly authentic Palestinian dishes. The delicate spices and preparation remind us of my grandmother’s dishes. That says it all.

I love this place. Make you feel right at home, and were very gracious to my large family (9 of us, including a 2.5 year old). The team was within their rights to be annoyed, as several of us arrived late and stressed, but instead treated us with kindness. Across the evening, we never wanted for anything. And we’re assured we could ask (including by Raiwa herself) in the event we ever did. The food was excellent. Particular favorites were the lamb and cauliflower steak… a meat eater at the table said the cauliflower steak was the best thing he’s eaten. The vegan combo is 10/10. I should also note that we’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and this was our first time back since Covid. The quality is just so incredibly consistent - just as we all remembered. We had knafeh to celebrate a birthday, and they took care around and accommodated the allergies at our table. I think by now everyone either knows or should know that the knafeh here is delicious, but that’s worth underlining. You can trust Tanoreen with your loved ones and special occasions. No better place to enjoy food made and served with love, to celebrate your loved ones.

Do not go here. Very rude people at the take out counter. They didn't acknowledge me or take my order.

It is one of the best restaurants where I’ve had Mediterranean food. The atmosphere was great. We tried the combo kebab and a dish with eggplant, meat, and walnuts. The taste was excellent. I definitely recommend this place.
