My husband hired Terra to care for the health of our lawn. Until then, I did not have faith in lawn care specialists because we tried several who did not produce a healthy lawn for several years. Within the first year, Terra succeeded with noticeable results. It has been about three years and our lawn looks great. The staff is knowledgeable, professional, and respectful.

Terra has been providing reliable services to us for 3 years, so I will keep using them!

I have been in the lawn care maintenance and landscaping business for 32 years. Owning my own residential business and now working for a larger commercial company. I was working from home when the crew from Terra Lawn Care arrived at my house for the Fall aeration and overseeding service. (I marked my electric dog fence with white paint and lawn flags). I watched the crew walk the yard front and back looking at the markings and the flags on the grass. In my 32 years, I have witnessed all of the local and national businesses performing aeration and overseeding in the neighborhoods I serviced as well as my own neighborhood, and I have never seen a company do a more thorough job than Terra Lawn Care. Every inch of the yard was aerated (in several directions) and overseeded in several directions. Any bare spots were slit seeded. There is not a doubt in my mind that my lawn will look amazing and out shine any of my neighbors who use other companies for lawn care. Terra Lawn Care is far superior to anyone else when it comes to their turf programs and the fall lawn care services. Terra Lawn Care employees are professional and very well trained at what they do.

Terra truly knows about lawn care! After another lawn care company destroyed my lawn by applying a treatment last August in 100 degree weather, I have had to begin all over again. Terra has a great reputation so I decided that I would have them do my lawn care treatments throughout the year and also do my over-seeding and aeration this fall. I was scheduled for early September. Of course, when the weather was reaching 90 degrees for the whole week, I was skeptical of the timing. I was assured that the seed would be fine and that the heat would be great for germination. I was encouraged to water consistently if drought conditions persisted. After the lawn was aerated and seeded, I decided to wait until after the week of hot, very dry weather and only then I was going to begin watering. I knew that once water became consistent, that the seed would become activated and I would need to stay on top of watering. Much to my surprise, we finally had a mild rain off and on for a day, about 10 days after the initial application. I noticed by the end of the week that my lawn was filling in with beautiful new green grass. Scott, the Lawn Care Manager, had told me to "trust him and the timing" and also to "not over think things" in regard to me having to do a lot of additional watering, etc. He was right! A lawn that was destroyed a year ago...you can't even tell now! Pricing is very reasonable and Terra always responds to emails and messages. Often you actually "get a human" when you call them! If you aren't happy with your current lawn care company, definitely give Terra a call! you won't regret it.

This summer, I hired Terra to restore a weed and tree root covered area along my driveway back to grass, and enlarge a water drainage swale that cut through the same area. I fully explained to the crew upon arrival what I wanted for the enlarged swale. Rather than enlarge the swale, the crew completely filled in the existing swale, which I again explained was not correct and would cause water backup into my garage. The crew left with the swale filled in and upon further complaints, another crew returned a week later to finally fix the swale.

I’ve had a couple not so great conversations with Scott, whom I believe to be the owner. He is hot tempered and could care less about the level of service that he/his company provides. Two years ago I walked Scott around my yard and showed him the boundaries of our property. For every service they’ve applied they neglected to treat a 3 foot section (Scott states it’s one foot but my tape measure states it’s a 3’ path) of our lawn. We subscribed to his lawn care services and we had a few issues throughout. For one - last summer our yard was taken over by nut sedge. I called to address this and instead of simply saying they could treat it and it would cost whatever it would cost I was blasted, like yelled out and scolded by him and given all the reasons nut sedge could be growing in my lawn. I tried to explain as a client trying to perfect my lawn I believed they had an opportunity to bring their observations to my attention and let me know they had a solution to help me out. But that wasn’t at all how he handled it. Early this spring I had two bare spots. I amended the soil and seeded the area and I asked their technician to avoid those areas. Thankfully the next day we received an email from Scott stating “his technicians observed a couple bare spots and they avoided the areas and offered to amend the soil and seed them”. Thank god he and his team paid such good attention to our property. The last service they applied was done on July 31 and I noticed they did not treat the far right side of our property so I called Scott. He was actually quite professional during this call. He stated he’d send the crew back to test the area. Today we received an email stating until the invoice for the July 31 service is paid they were unwilling to schedule our fall aeration service. Ironically we had just paid this invoice through our bank’s bill pay system or he’d wait the rest of his life for that money. I simply asked if they’d been back to apply the two treatments to the missed area and Scott said that he would just do those services when here to do our 5th treatment this fall. I was surprised just because this is in stark contrast to how he said he intended to remedy the missed area when he and I spoke two weeks ago. I am a paying customer, correction, I am no longer a paying customer, but I was until today. I can’t believe someone this disrespectful and unprofessional can thrive in today’s business climate. I would STRONGLY advise you to explore ANY other option for your lawn care needs before opting for using Terra.

I can't say enough about the fantastic job Terra did on our property. From taking out a tree in the back yard and regrading the lawn to building a great new wall around our front garden. They worked tirelessly all day! We would recommend Terra for any landscaping work you may have.

We have engaged Terra several times over the last decade. My wife is truly pleased with the quality and attentiveness of every crew dispatched to care for our property. Prior to Terra, nobody even came close to the quality of their shaping and pruning of our nearly 150 feet of yews! Add to that trees, additional shrubbery and the awesome care of 50 feet of second story arborvitae’s. Kristin handled a very tight schedule for us, Fred came out and estimated the job, and a three person crew acted in nearly choreographed precision to complete in less than half a day. Impressive all around!

We are on our second season with Terra. We are very happy with our tech, Gabriel (Gabi) and Hanna-Rose from the office has been very helpful as well. Thank you for taking great care of us and our yard.

Used their service last week for a mow and trim service. Kristin was extremely responsive via e-mail and scheduled us the next day. It helps having a local team, since we've typically seen others struggle with scheduling. The crew was polite, professional, maintained good quality and got the job done quickly.

Response from the owner " Not matching a price from TruGreen is condescending. If you solely want the least expensive company, I recommend you call TLC" I never felt that not matching a price is condescending. I was looking for a justification of why the prices were higher than TruGreen. I had an intention to go with you guys but after I spoke with Scott, I would stay away from you guys. I would also recommend same things to my neighbors and friends. Good way to bring down TLC

Scott has a huge ego problem and he needs to work on his communication skills. Instead of justifying their high price, he would rather insult a potential new customer.

Fred did an outstanding job handling the bushes here.. they look new! Thank you Terra for the great job!

Terra was absolutely fantastic with regard to meeting my landscaping needs. I provided minimal direction while out of town, and their specialists took it from there. The results surpassed my expectations, and I am excited to refer Terra to all of my friends and neighbors.

Fred runs a first class operation here. I reached out for help designing large-scale, residential privacy landscaping. Fred was very responsive and put together a perfect design to achieve what I was looking for. His team worked quickly and cut no corners. I was extremely pleased with the end result. UPDATE: When I let Fred know that five of the 75+ shrubs had died, he offered to replace them which he then delivered on. I plan to move all my landscaping services over to Terra now. Very high integrity organization.

I have been using Terra for a few years for various things but consistently now since moving to our new home in 2019. When we moved in our lawn was in pretty bad shape from the prior owners who simply didn’t seem to care about their property. Its been a few years and after following their recommentations on treatments, aerations, mowing tips, etc… I have to say my lawn looks incredible. Neighbors have commented, even my wife who pays no attention to that stuff said how great it looks. The service has been outstanding, people are great, owner/management extremely responsive and informative. If you are looking for a great service for your lawn I highly recommend Terra
