We visited The Essex Kitchen Design Company and spoke to Alex about our new kitchen extension and were immediately impressed with his knowledge & attention to detail in comparison with the other showrooms we had visited. Our kitchen has recently been installed and we are so happy with the design and service we received. Our kitchen renovation was a major piece of work with wall removal, new electrics & plumbing etc. Alex did an amazing job of working with us to define exactly what we were looking for, and tailored the result to our needs, aspirations and budget. The fitters arranged were highly skilled perfectionists with years of experience, and we felt we were in safe hands throughout the process. The result is simply stunning - better than we hoped it would be. We just cooked our first full meal in our "for life" kitchen, and couldn't be happier with it. Everything just flows and works in the room, which is fast becoming the heart of our home. I would gladly recommend Alex to anyone looking for a well designed, well built, stylish kitchen upgrade.

We contacted Alex to help us with a large renovation project including a kitchen, utility room and bar area in a new extension at our home. We met He immediately got on well and he listened and really took the time to understand what we were trying to achieve. He then put an amazing design together for our kitchen full of ideas which we hadn’t thought of that really made a difference. The quality of the finished kitchen is excellent and we are looking forward to entertaining our guests and using the new bar area. Alex has created a stunning Kitchen for us. He did an amazing design for us and really understood our list of requirements. We visited the Stock Village showroom following a recommendation from a friend who worked with Alex on their kitchen project last year and was very impressed with him. As soon as we began to discuss our project we could already tell that Alex was very professional and we immediately liked him. The showroom has beautiful kitchens and there are so many bespoke options that were not available with other showrooms we visited. Making the decision to have a new kitchen is a big one, and can be the single biggest expense in your home. Having done some research we came across TBKC and as soon as we had our first meeting with Alex, we knew we were in safe hands! You are not dealing with a sales person, you are dealing with someone who is involved in every aspect of the design and really knows his stuff! His attention to detail really gave me confidence that we were not going to be disappointed and that nothing was going to be overlooked. After I had planning permission to convert a tractor shed into a home I realised not only did I need a good builder i also needed an innovative kitchen designer. The kitchen was to be within an open plan social area. After researching sustainability, design features, individuality and a personal approach; I knew that Brighton Kitchen Company was the best choice. And they were local! The result is that I have a modern kitchen which suits purpose and place and an individuallity which does not compromise on functuality. Alex and all staff involved have been easy to talk to; flexible, I changed my mind several times; and contactable. Thank you!

This is the place in Brighton and Hove to go to have your bespoke dream kitchen or bathroom designed. The BKC pride themselves on attention to detail when it comes to design, and will factor in the most minute and nuanced details, that you may otherwise overlook, to make the space practical and aesthetically pleasing. Ergonomics is also a key. This was our second time using BKC, following the design and installation of two bathrooms a few years ago. What we like about BKC is that their designs produce a wow factor, are trendy, yet timeless. The materials and products used are bespoke and of superior quality, while also nationally sourced. We had our kitchen designed by Alex, who listened to our every whim and at the same time suggested different ideas, which we may not have considered ourselves. Chris, the managing director, was super helpful with choosing the tiles - we went for porcelain, mini metro dark green. We are now looking forward to the kitchen being finally finished, just in time for Christmas. Pics to follow.

We have been very pleased with the service provided by Alex and Mark, the installer/builder. Having a new kitchen can be a painful experience but this was seamless and hassle free. Everyone involved was polite, friendly, helpful and skilled. The result a beautiful kitchen where cooking and working is even more of a pleasure.

Chris and Alex were exceptional. Knowledgeable, professional, friendly and good listeners. And they have a good set of subcontractors who were very extremely user-friendly. We found Alex to be very friendly and helpful and also extremely professional. He spent a lot of time designing our perfect kitchen / dining room and offered various options for us to consider with a lot of attention to detail. Alex allowed us time and space to carefully evaluate and make our decisions and did not put any pressure on us at all throughout this process. Would thoroughly recommend!

We're so pleased with this work from TBKC on our family's new kitchen, which was a new installation as part of a whole house renovation in Aug/Sept. We thought the brief was a bit tricky - and probably muddled and indecisive - but the designer, Darren, just absolutely nailed it. I really do appreciate his design skills every time I use the kitchen. TBKC also had to deal with our contractors and work around them to some extent for the installation. They weren't as professional or reliable as TBKC, so this surely created headaches for Chris and the kitchen project management team but they never complained to us about it. TBKC absolutely delivered on customer service, honesty and reliability and we're thrilled with the result. Highly recommend.

Chris, Darren and TBKC team did a fabulous job with the design and fitting of our bespoke Shaker in-frame kitchen. It was not a straightforward job at all due to some architectural quirks of the house and some non-standard requests on my part. They were patient, communicative, helpful, and they had my back every step of the way. The kitchen was installed as part of a whole-house renovation where the TBKC team had to work under non-ideal circumstances (I chose the wrong building contractors, unfortunately) and they were extremely flexible during a busy time to deliver as promised. TBKC is composed of real artisans who take pride in their work so I'm not surprised that the final result is breathtaking, functional and the high quality I expected for the price point. I absolutely recommend this company and will be using them again for other cabinetry needs.

We started planning our kitchen in 2020 with the help of the lovely team at TBKC in Hickstead. Taking our own ideas, colours and vision they transformed the space resulting in the most beautiful, handmade bespoke kitchen. Every detail was thoroughly thought through from our integrated fridge freezer and white goods to taps, door handles, a pantry cupboard and little added extras like lights in the cookery book shelves. We absolutely love the final outcome - every visitor is in awe - and would highly recommend Chris, Louis and the team. If you’re looking for your dream kitchen this is the place to go.
