The folks at the Engel House came to our rescue when we got stuck in a snow storm that my little Prius couldn't handle. The inn is absolutely lovely and they made us feel welcomed in spite of our extremely last minute need for a room. We will hopefully be returning, next time for a planned stay.

The Engel House was a very pleasant place to stay. Our room was cozy with a TV and electric fireplace. The breakfast is continental which may not be adequate for some but the one large table allowed for wonderful connections with other guests which my wife and I treasure about B & B's. All in all, a delightful experience.

Very nice inn with big rooms. We have everything that we need: refrigerator with orange juice, yogurt, coffee, bagels, muffins, & a microwave. Thank you for your hospitality!

My sister and I loved our stay here! It's a big old house so it's very cozy. We stayed in room 5 (Uriel) upstairs and it was spacious with a very comfy king bed. The innkeeper Liz greeted us upon our arrival to show us around and was easily accessible throughout our stay in case we needed anything.

I had an absolutely delightful stay. I had everything I needed, including coffee! The peace and quiet were very much needed. The room was very clean and comfortable. I am looking forward to my next visit.

We had a very relaxing stay at The Engel House last week. The room was spacious and quiet, with great air conditioning! Liz was very communicative before, during, and after our stay to ensure that things ran smoothly for us. The common area with coffee/tea/water always available was also appreciated. A few more breakfast options would be a great addition.

The location was great. We liked being able to walk to the bakery in the morning and the pub at night. It was a pleasure to sit on the porch listening to the rain. The room and lounge were clean and comfortable. We appreciated having coffee and tea readily available.

The room was very comfortable and the location was beautiful. I wish there had been a few more options for breakfast but we loved having coffee and ice water available to us at all hours. Thank you for a great stay!

Our work crews stayed at the Engel House on multiple occasions over the last several months. This B&B is cozy, rustic, welcoming, and clean. The innkeepers greeted us with a smile and made us feel at home. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable - a refreshing change from the chain hotels we are used to! We enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace at night and it was nice to have quiet time after a long day of work. There was a nice selection of coffee and tea available all the time and the grab and go breakfast was perfect. Hopefully we'll have the chance to stay here again!

This place was an incredible value. Very comfortable bed and a quiet place to sleep. Free coffee with delicious muffins for the morning. Also, Folly was one of the best restaurants I have ever been to, if not the best.
