One gem of a Bed and Breakfast!
This is one gem of a B and B! 5 stars all the way. We'd travelled from Kent in heavy traffic, arriving late afternoon. The owners greeted us with home made cake and tea. Our dog was let out in their lovely safe secluded garden to play with the gorgeous Chip, their beautiful black Labrador. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the very large bed was like sleeping on a fluffy cloud. Breakfast was superb with home baked bread and home made fruit salad, together with a full English! We felt so welcomed and so spoilt. I'm sure we will be back .

Cotgrave is a charming village very convinient for Nottingham We have stayed at Primrosr House several times now .( with our dog ) The hosts Suzie and Paul are very welcoming , the accommodation super comfortable and the breakfast superb . It’s just lovely .

Wedding in local area
A warm and friendly welcome couldn't do enough for you, with huge bed in the blue room, very well lit as we got back late car park with loads of room. Easy to find, taxis were very quick to arrive. Can't recommend this place highly enough, a must visit if you're in the area. Thank you

Over night stay for a wedding at the Carriage Hall.
Lovely welcome of tea. coffee and cakes in the garden. The cottage was very spacious and immaculately clean. Fab breakfast with plenty of tea and coffee. Excellent location for Belvoir Castle and other nearby attractions Would defiantly stay again if in the area.

Family run b and b
Very friendly family run b and b in a beautiful setting. There is a beautiful garden and the cottage was a wonderful place to stay for a few days in Cotgrave. A lovely breakfast was provided with freshly made bread each morning. Thanks for such a nice stay

The best b&b we’ve ever visited
Myself, wife, son and my parents stayed at the Primrose House B&B on our way up to Center Parcs Nottingham from the South Coast. Sue and Paul have mastered the art of running a great B&B and everything was just perfect. The house, gardens and outbuildings are simply stunning and they should be extremely proud of what they have created. The breakfast was tremendous, from the delights of the help yourself fruits and cereals, the tasty cooked full English to the gorgeous, straight from the oven, home-baked bread. It was lovely to chat with the pair of them while we were there and they were both so friendly and hospitable. We will definitely visit again if we are up in the area. Faultless.

Fantastic welcoming stay in charming home
We stayed at primrose cottage for 2 nights in July for my sisters wedding. Such a gorgeous and welcoming home! Great for kids with the outside space and chickens and the lovely dog, chip! The rooms were immaculate but had character and charm. Really comfy beds and fab shower with lovely shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The hosts were so lovely and accommodating. They made a lovely fresh and made to cook breakfast (even home made bread) and were accommodating of dietary requirements with myself and my daughter being vegan. There were a range of rooms all very nice and charming. Absolutely loved the hosts and the house and would fully recommend a stay here! Xx

Beautiful B & B with all you could hope for.
A beautiful location in a lovely village. The rooms are of a very high quality and feel like a home-away-from-home. Always a warm welcome from Susie and Paul, who look after you like family. Breakfast is a definite high point, with an extensive selection and delicious hot options (the freshly baked bread each morning was a real treat!). A real pleasure to stay and will be returning in the future.

Welcoming B&B, perfect for Watersports Centre
We received a very warm welcome from Paul, who after showing us our room provided us with tea and lemon drizzle cake in the large kitchen/lounge overlooking their beautiful garden. We had use of an extremely large shared bathroom, shower was fantastic and all toiletries provided. Well located for the Watersports Centre

Where to start… From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcomed. Being shown our lovely accommodation to being treated with a tray of coffee and cake within moments. Everything about Primrose House has character and calm. Our hosts, Susie and Paul are certainly hosts with the most. Very accommodating and never without a smile, nothing is too much trouble. Morning breakfast gave a varied choice, homemade and freshly baked, all very yummy. It was lovely to have that time to chat with our hosts and be greeted by Chip, their gorgeous Labrador. We felt very at home. Already checking our calendar for our next booking.

Wonderful Place to Stay. Home from home.
Unbeatable hospitality. We were in the Weaver’s Room which is like a small apartment. The hosts are dog-friendly and our black Labrador Vera got on famously with their dog Chip. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and warm home baked bread, cheese rolls and home made gooseberry jam. Eggs from their own chickens. Regular buses every 20 minutes into Nottingham.

Best B&B I’ve ever stayed at!
Myself and my two children stayed for 2 nights at Primrose house whilst we were in the area visiting family and friends. We had stayed before 13 years ago and I remembered it being wonderful then. It was just as good this time, beautiful rooms, very comfortable beds, lovely hosts and my children’s absolute favourite part of the stay was the fantastic breakfast each morning, full English with eggs from their own chickens! Everything was delicious, home made bread, jams and marmalades too! We can’t wait to come and stay again when we are next in the area.

Everything a good B&B should be!
We stayed for two nights at this fabulous B&B. Our room was extremely comfortable with a little kitchen area attached. Susie’s homemade bread at Breakfast was delicious, served by log fire in our hosts’ beautiful kitchen. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality.

Friendly, amazing breakfast
We stayed at Primrose House B&B last weekend. We received a really warm welcome from Susie, who was super helpful including printing off a list for local taxi companies. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, freshly baked bread and and English breakfast cooked to perfection.

A very pleasant overnight stay,
Beautiful place to stay, wonderful hosts and a great breakfast to finish our stay. The rooms were extremely clean and well kept and there was absolutely NOTHING to say bad about the visit. I would certainly recommend the Primrose House to anyone.

One of the most friendly places I have ever stayed, nothing was too much for Susie and Paul. Lovely ensuite room wonderful scrambled eggs and rhe most beautiful garden to relax in. Tea coffee and delicious lemon cake on arrival.

Best accommodation I've experienced in a long time
I stayed here as I was visiting the British geological survey in nearby Keyworth. Beautiful little b&b, clean, rustic and comfy. Very friendly hosts and dog :) fresh eggs from pet chickens for breakfast too. Will definitely be stopping again
