Words alone can not describe just how truly fantastic this venue is. Friendly yet intimate! The accommodation was perfect, cozy and luxurious. Using recommended suppliers meant our wedding was completely stress free from start to finish, so we could just relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Thank you to Wendy and Dominic for creating such a magical place to say our vows.

After been together for 30+ years we decided to take the plunge. If i could give this place and Wendy a million stars it would not be enough. From day 1 she made me smile and relax. Her comment that they dont do stress at the love shack was spot on. All communication was quick.U get a list of suppliers they use which our choices were perfect. Cheshire east registar were brilliant and Wendy helped me with this too. I wont go into too much details as i dont want to spoil anyones big day. All i will say if you only want a small wedding but be made to feel so special do not hesitate to book this place. Wendy thankyou so much for giving us the wedding we wanted Mr and Mrs Ellis

The Love Shack at Moss Wood is beyond perfect. We knew as soon as we saw it that it was exactly what we were looking for for an intimate wedding - and everything about our stay and our special day exceeded our expectations. It was truly magical. The woodland area, wider grounds and lake are stunning and well cared for, with so many beautiful spots for photos and for relaxing in, plus plenty of space for our little girl to run around. There are lots of gorgeous extra details dotted around, such as the swings, lanterns, dream catchers, windchimes and pretty signs. Your choice of music piped through the area as you walk down the meandering path to the Shack itself for the ceremony just finishes everything off perfectly. It really is like being in a fairy tale. The lodge was spotlessly clean and well appointed with everything we could need. The breakfast hamper was fantastic and we loved watching the sunset over the lake around the firepit, complete with smores! Wendy and Dominic really have thought of everything! The service from Wendy was impeccable throughout - friendly yet professional, and never intrusive. We were made to feel welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. Our little girl and our dog immediately took to Wendy. It was important to us that they were both part of our special day and seeing how relaxed they both felt and how much they enjoyed it too was icing on the cake. We could not fault a single thing, and can't think of anything that would improve this spectacular venue or the service. We didn't want to leave.

No words quite do this venue justice! We knew we wanted a small, intimate wedding but really struggled to find somewhere until The Love Shack popped up. From the moment we read their story and saw photos, we knew this was the place for us. The whole process was so simple and working with Wendy was an absolute dream. Her attention to detail is just on a new level and on top of that, she's just a genuinely lovely person that made us feel so comfortable. She goes above and beyond for her couples and we couldn't be more grateful. The venue is pure magic and so beautiful - you will not be disappointed. Cannot recommend enough, it was the most perfect day.

What an amazing place! We were guests at a wedding to remember forever. Wendy our host was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. She was always there making sure everything ran like clockwork but never intrusive. Everything had been thought of down to the smaller details which made it all so special. The photos don’t do this place justice, it is breathtaking. The breakfast hampers were well thought out and the accommodation were spotless and absolutely beautiful. The fire pit in the evening was a nice touch and the marshmallows, chocolate and biscuits to make our own s’mores which went down a treat. We were lucky to have the most beautiful sunny day and enjoyed the glorious grounds. This place is special and ideal for small intimate weddings…very much recommend The Love Shack.

We really do feel privaliged to have hosted our wedding here. Wendy has a magical place & her team really do go above & beyond to make sure everything is just perfect! I couldn't recommend it enough! It's such a special place & time really does stand still for you. We haven't got one negative thing to say about our stay.

Me and my husband got married at the love shack, just the two of us with the amazing Wendy and Dominic as our witnesses. It was the most perfect day! The grounds are absolutely gorgeous! Wendy and Dominic are amazing, the really have thought of everything and go above and beyond to make the day extra special for the individuals there. Not only is the accommodation beyond gorgeous Wendy really does think of everything, the breakfast hamper that they provide is luxurious and there is honestly nothing I could recommend to make it better. It’s perfect! I highly recommend the love shack for both small and completely private weddings.

Beautiful venue.

We were privileged to be able to host our elopement wedding at this unbelievably beautiful venue. The love shack is the perfect place for the ceremony and Moss Wood itself is such a private and secluded place to stay before and after. It is everything we dreamt of. Wendy is the most amazing host who was helpful in the preparation and on the day making it so stress free. She took the time to spend with us and show us around and the extra little things she did, like playing music in the woodland whilst we had a wonder around, made all the difference. She also know when to leave us alone to take in the time together which was nice. Herself and her husband acted as witnesses for us but even though we had only met them that weekend you could tell they enjoyed every minute and that meant the world as it was our happy day we were spending with them. They also looked after our dog too whilst we said our vows. The wood lodge was just beautiful and the perfect place to stay and it is so lovely having the venue exclusively as you could feel totally at ease and relax knowing you weren't going to bump into anyone else. We really couldn't recommend the love shack enough. We couldn't have been any happier and we have really enjoyed sharing our photos and memories with our family and friends.

This place is absolutely stunning 💖 Wendy and her husband could not do enough to help you. The stable and summer house are lovely and there's everything you need In them. The love shack were you marry is like a fairy tail. We was honoured to be guests at this amazing place witnessing our cousins wedding please if you are thinking of getting married here then do so 💕

We had the absolute pleasure of attending a friend's intimate wedding at the Love Shack venue, located at Moss Wood in Knutsford on the 18th June. Upon arrival at the discreet electronic gate of Moss Wood we were firstly left wondering if we had arrived at the right venue as we saw the beautiful home and grounds in which the Love Shack is set, but were soon greeted and given a warm welcome. Wendy kindly gave us all a tour of the gardens and lodges, and a tour and run down for the event itself. The Stables provided a gorgeous honeymoon starter for the newlyweds, with the most stunning of antique wedding beds I have ever seen, a well stocked and equipped lodge with a well thought out embankment offering a little privacy from the main house, a firepit, outdoor dining area and a view of the lake and serene setting. The summerhouse, nestled beneath oak trees on the other side of the main house and the lake, was absolutely stunning. Again finished to a high standard with a fully equipped kitchen, a beautifully comfortable double bed, and a further 2 singles up.the spiral staircase on a mezzanine. A lakeside outdoor dining area and large log filled chiminea, and to the rear more seating under the oak trees overlooking the orchard. Fluffy towels and soft bathrobes with a well stocked bathroom made getting ready for the wedding a pleasure. A beautiful continental breakfast tray was supplied to us all, with quality ingredients, but other touches such as ingredients and marshmallow toasting tongs for smores for our firepit were delightful. The wedding itself, in the setting that has been beautifully thought out to maximise the ambience and make the most of that glorious setting was a pure heart filling joy. Truly one of the best weddings I have ever had the pleasure to attend. The wedding party is given the exclusive use of the grounds for the weekend, this luxury is rarely found with fast paced turn arounds and early check outs being the norm, making it all extra special and unhurried. The hosts themselves, Wendy and Dominic, were beyond helpful, attentive and personable. I genuinely could not have wished for a better experience and both me and my husband are already making plans to come and use the Love Shack for a vow renewal ceremony, just so we can return. 11/10. Means the best, plus 1.

We had the Pleasure of being asked to join friends to celebrate their wedding day on the 18.06.2021 and were amazed at how utterly beautiful the place was ... with the intimate and lovely wedding venue 'The Love Shack' to the stables and the summerhouse Which we stayed in everything was perfection ... so many great photo locations to get pictures of if you're there for a wedding .... wendy and Dominic were superb hosts who made us feel welcomed and could not do enough for us ... lovely people in a lovely setting with amazing attention to detail ... if anyone was looking for a small intimate wedding venue this would be the first place I would guide them towards

We couldn't have asked for a more a magical wedding day and stay. The grounds and cabins at Moss Woods were stunning, with everything you could possibly need provided. The woodland area, lake and views of open fields offered so many wonderful photo opportunities (and a great view whilst eating breakfast!). Wendy and her family were so welcoming and worked with all our vendors behind the scenes to remove any potential wedding stressors. Nothing was too much for Wendy, from providing a fire pit every night to setting up a personalised breakfast spread. We left feeling incredibly relaxed and ready to start married life. We can't thank you enough Wendy! Anyone thinking about getting married here shouldn't give it a second thought ♥️

Fabulous location for a wedding.... beautiful spot in the woods, superb accommodation (we started in the Stables), and the hosts Wendy and Dominic could not be more friendly, professional and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone!
