This was my first Solo Hike which I chose a 13-day trip that included day tour and ABC trek. I am so grateful and lucky because I met a great company and friendly peoples. From the moment I confirmed this trip, all my questions and concerns to all arrangements were made through contacting Mr. Santosh. Not only did he give me great guidance, but I really chose to believe that he would make good arrangements for me. Of course, in the end, I completed the entire trip, and nothing disappointed me. Moreover, the surprise treatment was beyond my expectations, which really made me feel that I paid a worthwhile fee. Mr. Suraj is my tour guide. Not only does he carefully take care of my three meals a day, but he also cares about me from time to time if there is anything I need in particular. I didn't rush into the daily schedule and followed my own pace, which made me enjoy the hike. Besides, he is really my best partner during hiking. He not only helped me a lot but also took a lot of beautiful photos and videos for me.

Last September I spent 3 weeks in Nepal. From the first contact we were super well served by Santosh. Upon arrival in Nepal, we were very warmly received and were not short of anything. The hike was amazing with our fantastic guide Suren! Because we enjoyed the hiking so much, we wanted to hike three more days. We were extremely happy with the flexibility in the program and the beautiful surroundings. When we wanted to relax after hiking, he also arranged a wonderful stay in Chitwan for us. He not only arranged the stay, but also that the transportation went smoothly. When we got back to Kathmandu he was waiting for us again. We were very happy with that. Last September, I spent 3 weeks in Nepal with my boyfriend. From the first contact we were super well helped by Santosh. Upon our arrival in Nepal we were very warmly received and we were not short of anything. We left on the second day for the annapurna circuit trek with our fantastic guide Sauren. He showed us so many beautiful places and knew a lot about the area. He also arranged the best accommodations for us. For example, we always got rooms with private bathrooms and the best views. He also always arranged good food and fresh fruit for us. In addition, he also advised us well about altitude sickness and with his help we reached Thorong-la Pass. He made us feel good every day. It was also very nice to relax and play games with each other sfter a long day of hiking. It was a great experience! Because we liked the hiking so much, we wanted to hike an additional three days. Sauren also took us to this and guided us these days. We were extremely pleased with the flexibility in the program and the beautiful surroundings. When we wanted to relax after hiking, he also arranged a wonderful stay in Chitwan for us. He not only arranged the stay, but also that the transportation all went smoothly. When we returned to Kathmandu he was waiting for us again. We were very happy with that. If you are looking for a company with a good guide, so you can enjoy a carefree vacation? This was my third time using Santosh’s service in 16 years. From the warm greeting up at the airport to the final departure Santosh was there every step of the way organising our Lang Tang Valley trek, helping us with any and all questions, even helping us to organise a side trip to Bhutan (which took no time at all to organise at the last minute). Santosh and his team have years of experience in the touring and trekking industry and you will feel 100% at ease in Santosh’s safe hands. Nothing is too much trouble for him and his amazing team. From the moment we wanted to start organising our trip (over 10months before), Santosh was extremely responsive and provided many options for our time before and after our LangTang Valley trek. From the very clear itinerary provided before we even left Australia, to greeting us at the airport and taking us to our hotel, Santosh and team were there whenever we had any questions or queries. When we departed for our trek, and made the drive to Syfraubesi, we stopped at numerous places for the best ever "wow" moments, something pictures would never be able to convey accurately. On the day we left and for the following day, Santosh (our guide) and Suraj (our porter) made this the most memorable trip. So many laughs along the way, as well as being given in-depth knowledge and appreciation for LangTang National Park and Nepalese culture. Each stop was enriching of our souls, and while some of the days were rough, Santosh and Suraj never stopped keeping our spirits up. Each day helped us feel more and more accomplished. Nothing was ever a problem or issue for our team, and this is down to the amazing customer- focused service from Santosh and Suraj. After our track concluded (amazing 5 days), we sat and reminisced about our favourite parts of our trek and had a cold beer together to cheers our accomplishments. Our drive back to Kathmandu and the service continued to be provided by Santosh allowing us to continue enjoying our holiday in Nepal (and expertly helped us with a booking to Bhutan). Could not recommend Santosh and Nepal Trekking Company any higher (but if I could give 10 stars, it still wouldn't be enough). Thank you Santosh and Suraj for making our dream of this trek come true and allowing us to leave with more love for Nepal in our hearts.

Booked a trek to annapurna Base camp, 16 years after my first one, and decided to go with the above company. Santosh and his team took care of everything from meeting me at the airport, booking hotels, internal flights and supplying me with my own guide, Amar Gurung, who was amazing, sanctuary passes, and finally dropping me off at the airport for my flight home. Leaving me able to just enjoy the trek, which I certainly did. Effeciency and honesty are the words that describe this company: no hidden extra costs and an itinerary that didn't change (unless I wanted it to, which they accommodated without question). All done with the personal touch that is lacking in a lot of other companies. Going to Nepal? Give Santosh a call!

An Unforgettable Trek to Annapurna Base Camp My father and I decided to visit Nepal this year. Among the many companies you can choose from to get the best guide and experience, we were definitely the luckiest to choose these guys. The whole communication before we arrived, the trek itself, and the service around it were just pure perfection. Santosh picked us up at the super busy Kathmandu airport and explained everything. Then it was entirely up to Suraj (our guide) and Konga (our porter). They were super experienced guys who made the trek enjoyable, safe, and mostly fun. We were very lucky with the weather, which certainly helped. In the end, we had some spare time to explore Kathmandu. Santosh immediately offered his help, so we met Kumar (our city guide), who showed us all the temples and briefly explained the history of Nepal. The farewell dinner was just the cherry on top. We will never forget this trip, and hopefully, we will get back for another trek one day.

Whenever going on a trip of this nature, with so many moving parts and so much room for error, having everything planned out and trust in those doing the planning / organising is essential, and in the Nepal Trekking Company we had that in abundance. I rarely do reviews, but such was the quality of the trip from start to finish by Santosh and Co that I have chosen to. From day 1 of booking, to the end of our trip, the care and attention we received was second to none. What made the trip extra special was the things we didn’t expect, from the helicopter journey to Lukla to the final evening where Nepal Trekking Company took us to a traditional Nepalese meal and entertainment which was really fun. Our trip concluded 2 days after the trip ended, yet Santosh still drove us to the airport which really isn’t something we expected given the trip was over but such is the end to end experience we received. A special thanks to Saruj our guide, and Kaka / Gonga our porters who were amazing throughout. Each day, the attention to details and genuine care was really felt, particularly the morning apple and pomegranate - not to mention when I injured my back, Saruj stayed at my pace the subsequent days and constantly offered me support. That being said, he does need to work on his Snooker playing abilities! All in all amazing people, an amazing experience and the absolute best trekking company to use in Nepal. Whilst I’ve not used other companies, there is no way any other offers the value for money, care, attention and overall experience that the guys at Nepal Trekking Company do. The trip of a life time, made easy by Santosh and his team! Me and two friends went on the 2 week Everest Base Camp trek and were looked after from being picked up at the airport to being dropped off. Our guide Suraj made sure we were safe on the mountain and made it up to Base Camp in one piece, and educated us about the mountains and culture on the way up. The Nepal Trekking Company are experienced professionals and I could not recommend this or any trek or hike with them enough.

We went with The Nepal Trekking Company on a trek to Annapurna Base Camp. Everything about this company and the experiences provided excelled our expectations. Communication has been excellent from the beginning. As laymen for trekking, we had so many (annoying) questions to be asked from Santosh Adhikari - the owner of the Comany. But he was really patient and was insanely supportive with the detailed explanations and answers given. The easy going attitude and the friendly manner of communication deserves 5 stars! And he gave us the best offer possible, which not a single competitor could even come close! Package - 5 Stars! The guide - Shraban Adhikari is simply the BEST! He was not just a guide, but was also a friend and a mentor for us until the day we left. With 24+ years of experience, this English speaking guide gave us detailed explanations about everything which we came across. And he managed to get us the best accommodations and recommended the best meals to have in each tea house. Even when we went to any shop, he was there to bargain with the local sellers and get us better deals. Guiding - 5 Stars! Our beloved porter - Ganga had to carry more than double the amount of weight than we agreed for, due to some health issues which we unfortunately came across. It was remarkable. Without his help, we definitely wouldn't have made it to the top. He did all of this, without even complaining a bit! This kind man deserves 5 stars for sure! The guide and porter went beyond their job and cared for us before, during and after the trek. Even when we paused trekking for a bit, to catch our breath, they were kind enough to not let us remove our backpacks and get the water bottle by themselves. Up to THAT level, they were concerned about our comfort. This deserves 5 stars! At Deurali, I was almost gonna give up due to Altitude concerns. Shraban was observant enough to notice this and took my bag and let me walk without a bag. Simply put - I wouldn't have made it to the top, if it wasn't for Shraban and Ganga, period. This is a trip that we'll never forget. The Nepal Trekking Company made sure of that. We highly recommend this company for anyone who wants to go on Trekking in Nepal.

Wir haben innerhalb von 9 Tagen die Tour zum Annapurna Basecamp gemacht (Poonhill inkludiert). Es war einfach nur toll! Vorab wurden wir super von Santosh beraten & in Nepal sogar vom Flughafen in Kathmandu abgeholt und von unsere Unterkunft ein par Tage später zu dem Bus nach Pokhara begleitet. In Pokhara wurden wir in einem guten Hotel untergebracht und haben unsere unser Trekking Guide Shraban kennengelernt. Man hat während des Trekkings Shrabans 20-Jahre Erfahrung durch seinen erst klassischen Service & sein Wissen zu Landschaft und Bergen spüren können. Wir hatten immer gute Unterkünfte (meistens sogar ein eigenes Bad), leckeres Essen nach unseren Wünschen und tolle Gespräche. Sein English ist gut und er hat super viel Wissen. Wir haben einiges gelernt und uns gut umsorgt und sicher gefühlt. Uns wurde ebenfalls ein Porter zur Verfügung gestellt. Ganga hat genau wie Shraban dafür gesorgt dass wir uns wohlfühlen. Zusätzlich haben die beiden es ermöglicht, dass wir wenn nötig in unterschiedlichem Tempo laufen konnten. Auch nach der Reise hat die Nepal Trekking Company mich unterstützt, in dem sie mein Flugticket von Pokhara nach Kathmandu gebucht hat und alle meine Fragen zu Nepal und möglichen anderen Trekks freundlich & ausführlich beantwortet hat. Die Zeit war toll, ich würde immer wieder hier buchen und kann die Nepal Trekking Company jedem empfehlen, der zu einem mehr als fairen Preis eine auf die eigenen Bedürfnisse angepasste Reise mit exzellenten Service sucht.

Wir haben die Tour zum Annapurna Basecamp gebucht und hatten eine wirklich fabelhafte Zeit. Santosh hat uns in Kathmandu abgeholt und dafür gesorgt das wir gut in unserem Hotel ankommen - auch wurden uns ein sehr bequemer Bus nach Pokhara gebucht und dafür gesorgt das wir zum Bus gebracht und in Pokhara vom Bus abgeholt wurden. Der gesamte Kontakt vor der Reise war detailliert, hilfsbereit und alle meine Fragen wurden beantwortet. In Pokhara wurden wir in einem guten Hotel untergebracht und unser Trekking Guide Shraban hat uns am Abend im Hotel besucht und uns in ein Nepalesisches Restaurant geführt um alle Einzelheiten und Fragen rund um die Wanderung zu klären. Der Treck zum Base Camp war traumhaft schön und der Service den Shraban uns geboten hat war erstklassig. Wir hatten immer gute Unterkünfte , leckeres Essen und sein Wissen rund um die Berge und die Kultur waren herausragend. Wir haben uns wirklich umsorgt und sicher gefühlt. Uns wurde ebenfalls ein Porter zur Verfügung gestellt. Ganga ist die Berge hoch und runtergehüpft - und hat genau wie Shraban dafür gesorgt dass wir uns wohlfühlen und nichts im Zimmer vergessen. Wir hatten eine wirklich tolle Zeit und würden immer wieder hier buchen und können die Nepal Trekking Company jedem empfehlen, der zu einem mehr als fairen Preis eine unvergessliche Reise mit exzellenten Service sucht.

We had 2 weeks to spend in Nepal with our parents and booked the Poonhill trek with the Nepal trekking company. Santosh,trekking and tour operator, was enormously friendly, patient and helpful to accommodate to our wishes and went the extra mile in terms of service. For example he helped out a great deal to retrieve my dads bags wich got stopped and held over in Delhi airport so that we could start trekking as planned to our schedule! Great options such as; mode of transport with Jeep from Kathmandu to Pokhara, TIMS and permit services, splendid teahouses to stay, and above all experienced and friendly guides. Many thanks for specially mr. Gorak, our guide, for being patient with our parents and took care in great detail. We had great laughs and enjoyed so much thanks to all the local people we have met along the way, an experience never to forget. I would highly recommend booking with the Nepal trekking company, the have numerous options to choose from throughout all of Nepal.
