The Puglia tour I recently returned from was incredible. Our tour manager, Anna, arranged a wonderful blend of experiences in this beautiful part of the world. We tasted some of the best of the cuisine of Puglia, learned more about the long history of the region and toured (with plenty of flexibility) the beautiful towns and country side we were seeing. What struck me as most special was Anna's zest for life and passion for Italy and Puglia. She made what we were experiencing more memorable and fun. I would love to travel under her guidance again!!

Anna has a deep level of experience guiding for many years including multiple trips as tour director for the upscale Tauck travel firm. Anna is terrific: knowledgeable, capable, fun and committed to doing the very best so that her clients can thoroughly enjoy every aspect of a country, city or town. She is very flexible and can design a trip customized to your needs. She drove us around Puglia in a luxurious Mercedes van and set us up at fabulous hotels. Was the trip of a lifetime. We have been with her twice and will not hesitate to use her again for future trips. Anna is a must. If you want to see Italy on a very personal level, you should hire Anna

My first trip to Puglia was filled with fond memories of places and people. It was an incredible visit because of the extraordinary planning and expertise of our tour guides, Rick and Anna. Their amazing coordination of local tours, accommodations, and frivolities made the trip very special. Our fabulous bus driver made it work logistically. Would I recommend this trip? Absolutely! Had a wonderful tour of Puglia. Beautiful sites, added to my knowledge of the history of the region, great food and amazing experiences led by wonderful, knowledgeable, accommodating guides. I happily recommend The Puglia Tours to anyone traveling in this region of Italy.

My family hails from two small towns near Bari in Puglia. What an extraordinary experience visiting the region with Rick Perdian Travel and guided by Anna Sbordoni. Every site, event, and meal were unforgettable. We danced the traditional pizzica at Masseria Le Stanzie and it stirred my soul to its core. The music, the rhythm and the vocals transcended time and place. We visited the 1,000 year old mosaic tiled floor that depicted the struggle between good and evil, and seeing the sassi of Matera which have been continuously inhabited for 9,000 years made me realize how short our time is on earth. The traditional meals of fava e chicoria, orecchiette and fritto misto accompanied by delicious wine and simple desserts were curated to perfection.

Our 8-day tour of Puglia was wonderful. Upon arrival we had a delicious dinner on the outdoor terrace of Palazzo Gattini hotel in Matera. On the next day we had a tour of the area, including lunch in a local cave restaurant. The following day on the way to the city of Lecce we had a excellent tour of the famous winery for Primitivo wine, including lunch. Upon arrival in Lecce we had a tour of the city's center, including the Roman theater and amphitheater. That night and two more nights we stayed in the famed Palazzo Maresgallo; tourists took photos of it! The following day we had a boat tour at Santa Maria di Leuca, swimming along the coast with its amazing caves. We then had a great lunch of fresh fish at a restaurant along the coastal rode. We were, unexpectedly, joined by the very nice woman who, with her architect, owned Palazzo Maresgallo. After lunch she invited us to their nearby beautiful home; we had a very nice visit with her and her kind and friendly husband. We then continued on with walking tours of several interesting cities, including Alberobello with its odd looking Trulli homes. Later that day we had a wonderful tour of an olive tree farm, including thousand years old olive trees. We had the opportunity to taste three slightly different qualities of extra virgin olive oil. We went on to stay at outstanding ranch-type hotel, Masseria Calderisi. On our next and last full day we visited the famous town of Polignano, right on the water with its narrow walks and streets. That night we had a very nice farewell dinner at our hotel's outdoor restaurant. The 'Mystery Tour' was expertly planned and carried out by our tour leader Anna Sbordoni, along with her outstanding colleague Awdie Coppola. They made the tour outstanding as it was, and they couldn't have been better tour guides and friends.

This was the most amazing trip of our lives. Anna Sbordoni was incredible and provided us with the most customized tour we could have asked for. In addition to seeing everything Puglia has to offer (and loving every place we visited), we even went off the beaten path. My wife's Mom was from a small town in Puglia, not a tourist site, and Anna took us there and spent time with us researching my wife's family and heritage, even meeting with the mayor's office to dig deeper. This was over and above anything we could have imagined and there is more to come as Anna continues to help us. We were also celebrating our 40th anniversary and Anna set up spectacular venues for us to celebrate, experiences to enjoy as well as recommending the most incredible places to stay. We became fully immersed in the culture and every location and it was so easy to plan taking Anna's suggestions. She takes care of everything! I recommend that anyone going to Italy do it with Anna and her team. Everywhere and anywhere in Italy! I will never visit Italy again without Anna's help.

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful time in Sicily! Our driver/guide, Awdie was phenomenal. We started in Palermo and made our way around Sicily, ending up in Catania. The trip was very well organized, all tour guides (especially Awdie) were very knowledgeable and fun to be with. We enjoyed the tour as well as the company or some fantastic tour guides! Ann

Our trip was amazing! Anna and Awedi were excellent. Our trip was for 2 weeks all around. Sicily. They were totally accomodating, lovely people. I have 9 people in my family..so we were alot in number, but love traveling. I have no reservation in recommending Anna and Awedi for anyone that wishes to travel around Italy.

Anna is deeply knowledgable about many areas. She has planned three trips for us to Cinque Terre, Sicily-Taormina area, and the Dolomites/Venice. From planning an itinerary, to booking tours, transfers and restaurants, Anna doesn't miss a detail. She provides many options to choose from with information about each so yu cna make an informed decision about your trip.

We had the most lovely time traveling with Anna in Italy! She did a phenomenal job up front understanding what we wanted to see, explore and experience in Venice and Sicily. Every stop exceeded expectations, from the hotels we stayed in to the restaurants to the local tour guides. Would definitely recommend planning and experiencing Italy with Anna!

I don’t have the words to describe how amazing this business is and I don’t know how I’ve been travelling without it. Anna was absolutely amazing! From our first communication, she was professional and organised and really listened to me and tailored the trip to what we wanted, with her many years of experience. During the trip, she was at our disposal at all times and was informative, helpful and understanding. Awdie the other guide was so knowledgeable and I could have listened to him all day to all the fascinating information he gave us on our guided tours. This experience was personalised and I had the best time. If you are travelling to Italy, I highly recommend using their services. They also do tours in other parts of the country as well. A group of 6 of us booked a tour with Puglia Tours and our trip was truly amazing! We had two very comfortable Mercedes vans. Our two guides, Anna and Audie were wonderful, our hotels were fabulous, and the overall itinerary was perfect with lots of fun excursions but time to also relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery and environment. I would highly recommend Puglia Tours to anyone wishing to tour any part of Italy. They were simply magnifico!

She will provide you with a recommended preliminary itinerary for your trip based upon your desires and criteria. Once you review, she will make any desired changes to accommodate any of your desires for your trip- specific places, experiences, likes and dislikes as well as the pace of trip that you wish. Since she is at your service, if local conditions or simply a change in plan is indicated, Anna can pivot effortlessly to make it happen. She is punctual and knows the ins and outs of travel in Italy as well as an extensive contact list to provide you with the accommodations and experiences that you desire. I would highly recommend her services for your trip and we will do so when we visit Puglia sometime in the future.

Amazing trip. We were a group of 3 couples who originally planned to “go it alone.” After doing some research prior to the trip, I can across The Puglia Tours and connected with Anna. After one conversation I knew I was in good hands. We had multiple video calls so Anna could understand the type of trip we wanted and what our likes and dislikes were. She put together the perfect itinerary for us. Once the trip began, everything was perfect. Anna guided us with incredible professionalism and went out of her way to show us towns and sites we never would have found on our own - not to mention some incredible restaurants. Anna was also incredibly flexible with our plans. Some days we were a bit tired so Anna quickly adjusted our itinerary to fit our moods. I can’t say enough good things. Our trip would not have been the same had we not met Anna and The Puglia Tours.

To begin I wish to thank Anna and Awdie for an exceptional visit to Puglia. I reached out to Awdie Coppola at a very late stage in planning our travels, and he in turn connected us with Anna. With our last minute planning we were not the easiest of tourists, but this did not hinder Anna from constructing a fabulous itinerary. Awdie, a truly lovely and dear person, greeted us at the Bari airport. Awdie has a gift of making one feel welcome and well taken care of from the start. We so appreciate the way Awdie shared his extensive knowledge of the history, architecture, and cities of Puglia. Being a native and an obviously curious and adventurous person, Awdie's willingness to share his experiences greatly contributed to our introduction to and joy of this wonderful region. We also loved our exploration of local wines with Awdie, Anna, and some other of their loyal clients. Because of our late planning, Anna had quite the task of finding drivers and guides for the rest of our stay in Puglia, but that she did. We truly appreciate our carefully curated adventures and look forward to future travels with Anna and Awdie.
