After my representation from Jessica Silvers at (Timms Solicitors), I felt it important to leave a review of the service provided by Jessica. Since having our first appointment Jessica has always gone above & beyond to ensure I'm happy with the work provided. Even in some instances where she was given very little time she has never failed to do all that is required. Her hard work & dedication to my case has been unbeatable & I would highly recommend Jessica Silvers to anyone needing representation. We've been in to Timms a couple of times now to sort out wills etc and must say the whole company is very well run and helpful. Sara Hilliard has looked after us in a very professional and efficient manner and has explained many things we were unaware of. Many thanks to Julie Stewart and Lisa Newbold for conveyance services in selling our house in Tutbury. Thanks for guidance when it was needed, it wasn't a straight forward sale as we lost our first buyer, thought about renting the house out etc, but it all worked out well in the end. Julie even did some work on New Years day to get us over the line for completion at the beginning of January. I think an initial meeting at the start of the process would be good, to meet the Conveyancer, but I understand it's not essential and probably adds extra costs. We are both very happy with the service provided.

I contacted Gov website for help regarding legal aid, Civil Legal Advice called me and said I should qualify under my circumstances and gave me links to solicitors who could help in my area - Timms being one of them. I contact Timms and was told they could not assess nor advise on this, despite the fact it says they do both on their website - so which one is it? Yes or no? Either way, I'll be going elsewhere, if this is how they start I have no trust in their abilities.
