Great Experiences at Hunt Tioga I have hunted at Tioga three times...wild boar, Rocky Mountain ram and red stag. ALl of my hunts were fantastic and well guided . I enjoyed it so much that I have taken both of my grandsons there when they were nine years old to hunt a fallow deer. The guides were excellent at working with these young boys. Each was successful! My older grandson was so taken with hunting there that I took him back to get a meat pig. The lodging, food and fellowship at Hunt Tioga is wonderful and I strongly recommend it to anyone

Daddy, Daughter Experience of A Lifetime! This was my third visit to Tioga Ranch. My oldest daughter was showing an interest in hunting and as we began practicing her shot I realized she could comfortably make an ethical shot up to 100 yards. At that point I asked her how interested she was in harvesting an animal and she was eager. Where I hunt in Northern Ontario, Canada the whitetail bucks don’t start to move until mid November on a regular basis during daylight hours. I have harvested wild big game all across Ontario hunting from a camp without power or water and a tent. Introducing my daughter to hunting from a cabin and all day sits in minus 10 to minus 20 Celsius wasn’t in my interest as it would have most certainly turned her off freezing all day. At Tioga, it is a preserve hunt and for anyone questioning whether or not we worked for her deer, hold on! We hunted two days. Each day my Garmin watch tracked my steps which were around 15,000 per day which equated to 14km or roughly 10 miles. My daughter is 7 years old and an athlete and loved every minute of it seeing all the amazing animals! Saying that, she was tired and legs sore at the end of the days. It’s a hunt, regardless of how people feel about high fence hunting. My daughter didn’t stop smiling for 3 days! If anyone whether you are a parent, grandparent, guardian of any kind that wants to introduce their youngster to the outdoors or hunting this is the place! The quality of animals is fantastic, the lodging is amazing, the hospitality staff are so caring and the guides are exceptional. This is a family run ranch and it shows! This was my best few days in the field in my life, and I didn’t harvest the deer! I was a 40 year old sobbing mess seeing how excited my daughter was to take her first buck and how proud she was. Safety was paramount, the experience was the focus and my daughters joy was always top priority for Derek and Jared who guided our hunt and Mark who organized the three days for us. No better place in North America to get your kiddos into the outdoors world… my humble opinion… MJ

I went to Tioga for the weekend in September. Tioga surpassed any expectations I had. You’re treated like a king from the moment you check in until you leave. The meals are all homemade and beyond delicious. Truly, the food was so good. My guide was very cool and very down to earth. His name is Derek. He provided a no stress fun and exciting hunt for a Russian. The hunting is legit. You put in work with your guide who knows the terrain and where to find these pigs. The prices are fair and I paid for processing and a European mount. I’m definitely coming back next year for a management hog. Whether you’re looking for a trophy or food or BOTH you can find it at Tioga. Can’t wait to come back.

Management Hog Hunt Just returned from our 3rd year in a row Management Hog Hunt at Tioga Ranch. Once again our experience with everything was top notch. Thank you to our guide Derek for going above and beyond for us again. The staff Bonnie and Linda for outstanding cooking skills and for maintaining the lodge in immaculate condition. Shout out to all the other guides that help each other with butchering and making everyone’s hunt successful, safe and fun. See you all next year! Ken and Michele Clark - Pocono Mountains PA

Was searching for a Boar hunt close to New England and discovered the Tioga Ranch and I am so glad I did. What a beautiful, well maintained, clean ranch. Just a gorgeous place. I found a gem that I hope to return to next year. Checked in the day before, checked in and went over to their range to make sure I was sighted in. My guide was knowledgeable and helpful but let me do my thing when it came time. I bagged a hefty boar and learned some new tips on how to process my catch. Later that day I was lucky to get an extended tour of the ranch, and it is massive! The accommodations were spotless and comfortable and the food, let me tell you, it was fantastic. The entire operation from booking, to check in, to the rooms, to the meals made you feel like an old friend rather than a guest. I can't recommend the Tioga Ranch highly enough, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned hunter, there is a hunt for everyone. I'm looking forward to booking another hunt in 2025.

Went for a Trophy Boar hunt. Would give it 10 stars if Google would let me. It was an awesome time. The lodge is great and comfortable and really clean. Rooms are nice and have an attached bathroom. Cooks are awesome. You will not go hungry and you will eat like a king. The hunting guides are experts in this from start to finish. Their skill and knowledge not only during the hunt, but afterwards with how they butcher the meat is second to none. Plus the guides are very personable. Butcher shop on site where the guides skin out/quarter/butcher your hog is first class, I was floored when I saw how nice it was. My experience was worth every penny and then some. I will definitely be making the trek to Tioga Ranch again.

My husband, Chuck, really wanted to do this. I was just going along for the ride. However, after sitting around the fire Friday night with all the hunters, they talked me into going out with Chuck. I tried the "I didn't bring warm clothes"...but, they all gave me clothes to borrow....boots, hat, gloves, and coat included. What great people we met. I had the time of my life, watching Chuck harvest a Russian boar, tracking it, and everything else. The lodge and food were excellent, as was our guide, Mike. I highly recommend Tooga Boar Hunting.

Just came back from another great hunt at Tioga. As always the food, lodging, people and animals were all top notch. My guide Mark is the best and always makes sure that I have a shot at the animal that I want. I will definitely be going back again. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Once in a lifetime hunt that turned into a lifetime of hunts ahead! I have been to Tioga Boar Ranch two years in a row now. This is by far the most welcoming, committed and passionate outfitter I have ever been lucky enough to visit. This is a family run business and it shows in the pride they take in their guests experience. In the two short hunts I have had here I have built friendships with the staff and guides. They treat everyone equally whether you are hunting a $6,500 whitetail or a $600 meat hog. Every single person gets the same service, exceptional! The guides are allocated to a specific hunter but if a hunter is having a particularly difficult time on a hunt it’s all hands on deck and the guides rally around the hunter to ensure they have the best opportunity at success. In my sincere opinion it would be impossible not to have an incredibly memorable and enjoyable hunt at Tioga Boar Ranch. To top it all off, the lodge hospitality team go above and beyond for “their hunters” as they refer to us. Their commitment to our comfort and appetite are impeccable :) Best food I have eaten anywhere! If you are considering an outfitted hunt this is the place to go! Talk with Mark or Derek (Derek Gee was my initial contact with the lodge and also my guide for the last two years) and they will set you up with a fair, honest and true experience of a lifetime! Can’t wait to bring my little girls for their first hunt hopefully next year!
