Indeed! "Understanding the practical day-to-day needs of textured hair" is vitally important—especially given the abundance of self-proclaimed 'experts' who don’t even have curly hair! Unfortunately, unrealistic social media marketing, misleading pricing, and aggressive upselling are just a few of the many reasons why you and so many others struggle to find a supportive professional. This reality is exactly why I choose to operate and offer the services I do.

Everything you experienced during (and since) your visit and write about in your review is the byproduct of a career spent listening to what was needed. As an interesting side note, the reason for the lack of split ends is partially due to the custom scissors I use. They are handmade in Japan and designed to my exact specifications to benefit the hair when dry-cutting. Indeed, inferior haircutting tools and techniques harm the hair in more ways than one! I'm thrilled you've noticed a difference!
