Tonchin Williamsburg is always a favorite. The hiball is spot on, and the smoked dashi and spicy tantan ramen are our go-tos. We also love their thoughtful selection of small plates—consistently delicious. Just one request: please bring back the hojicha shaved ice!

We walked in on a Saturday night and they were able to seat us and take care of us. Really Great ramen, broth was some of the most complex I’ve ever had. The shaved ice was also good but huge, barely finished it, definitely worth getting. Mocktails were good as well as cocktails. The bowls had a lot of broth so good if you’re into that, I like to clear my bowl (as a sign of respect) so I felt bad I couldn’t because I definitely enjoyed it. The wings were also quite solid but pricy, if you can swing it go for it. Not the cheapest ramen spot but so so good and worth it

The ramen and food quality here is incredible! Great broth and freshly made noodles, I just wished the pricing of the menu was different. This is one of the first restaurants I’ve been to where the majority of the appetizers are more expensive than the entrees. The appetizers we did order tasted amazing, I just wished we could’ve ordered more without breaking the bank!

The vegetarian ginger ramen was delicious.
And the Soba pana cotta dessert was amazing - special and not too sweet.

Tokyo ramen is delicious. The pork is kind of shaven like a cold cut instead of a slab of pork belly which was different.

Tonchin never disappoints! They have the best hiball in the neighborhood, and white tartar and potato is a must. Smoked Dashi ramen and Spicy Tantan ramen are both packed with flavor. Just wish they’d bring Hojicha shaved Ice. A solid spot for good food and drinks!

Really really good food. We came on a rainy windy spring day and it hit the cozy we needed. The set up inside is almost like a diner, so it feels social. The waiters were helpful and attentive. I recommend the cheese chicken wings, the Tokyo tonkatsu ramen, and the kimchi mushrooms. The old fashioned was one the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced. I do wish they could have substituted the egg with another topping.

Однозначно, лучший рамен в городе. Часто бываем здесь и в Тончине в Манхеттене.
Жаль, что в последнее время убрали из меню жареную свинину и тако бан теперь не три, а две булочки.
Единственный минус это немного темно в зале, что даже меню не разглядеть😬

Spicy tan tan ramen and cha shu rice ball were especially good. I would definitely go back again.

The vibe of the restaurant was cute too, although unfortunate to be seated next to a very loud table which made it very distracting and hard to have our own conversations.

Service was average, staff was nice but would like to see them at least offer a fork or straw when they see a small child at the table.

this place never disappoints and has become one of my favorites. the food, cocktails, atmosphere, aesthetic, and service are all top tier. highly recommend you will not be disappointed!!

I had oysters and tonkotsu ramen both were good. Oysters were fresh and they also have happy hours 6 for $16

Spicy tan tan ramen is the best! Recommend to try their shaved ice.
