Great trip, awesome experience. Thank you Thales! Visiting Iceland was an amazing experience, and it was further enhanced by our wonderful and helpful tour guide Thales. Traveling to different locations in Iceland in the dead of winter can be tricky, especially when the road & weather conditions don't cooperate with your tour schedule (Road closures/high wind/icy roads). However, because of our super capable tour guide Thales, he somehow managed to get the group to almost all of our designated spots in a timely manner. I cannot stress how safe & secured he made the whole group feel during the dreadful drive through the whiteout/blizzard conditions. To top it off, he kept the group entertained during the long drives with his mass knowledge of the local history/locations. There were numerous times, where Thales went above & beyond his duty as a tour guide just to make sure everyone in the group were happy and got the most out of our trip. The dude deserves a medal!The glacier hike, horseback riding, exploring the ice caves, and whale watching were all highlights of this trip for me. But having a friendly group and an awesome tour guide to spend Xmas with was the cherry on top. I would highly recommend taking this trip, especially if you're lucky enough to get Thales as your guide.

8-day tour around Iceland with troll tour guides David and Maggie If I could only choose one place that I would explore twice or more, it would have to be exploring the mysterious Iceland with David and Maggie. This trip became my spiritual pillar. When I feel sad or lost, Iceland's glaciers, waterfalls, blue ice caves and northern lights will bring me unlimited motivation and energy. In this perfect trip, the route is well planned and you can visit almost every famous attraction. Unfortunately, it is impossible to visit every corner of Iceland in eight days. This regret will become your reason and motivation to come to Iceland again! !Let's talk about our tour guides, David and Maggie, who are the most important part of this perfect trip. Their professional driving experience and friendly and positive attitude have won the respect and love of everyone in the tour group. Even when I returned to Poland, David's words to us every morning, "Good morning everyone, can you here me", still echoed in my ears, as if I was still in Iceland. When it was possible to see the aurora, David would lead us to drive to a place without light pollution to chase the aurora. Even though he was very tired after a day of driving, he still worked hard to provide us with a better experience for this tour group.I will come back to Iceland many times in my life, to a country full of surprises, northern lights, volcanoes, pure air and water, to explore Iceland with David and Maggie, and maybe propose to my girlfriend in the future... who knows. I mean, who doesn't want to have many unforgettable memories in Iceland! If you are considering traveling to Iceland and are reading this review, if you are considering troll tours 8-days around the island. Then you will get an incredible and precious 8 days in a "country not on earth"！！！

Unforgettable Trip around Iceland with Fabulous Guide We had a very memorable time on our trip around the Island. Our guide Thales was absolutely amazing. He was super calm amid very difficult driving conditions, with limited visibility, high winds and snow storms. He was very prudent and his driving was excellent. He got us everywhere we needed to go safely without missing any activities. He was also extremely friendly, informative, helpful, uber organized and attentive. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide! The experience was fabulous, with beautiful scenery, spectacular water falls, horse-back riding, ice caving, exploring a lava tunnel, hot springs, geysers, whale-watching, etc... Shout out to Elena and Miguel(?) - our guide from Valencia, Spain - on an incredible glacier-walking hike. They were also excellent guides on that excursion. We would definitely seek out Thales and Troll for our next trip yo Iceland (perhaps in summer to revisit this wonderful scenery in a different light).

Great option for those in shorter trips Did this trip on a weekend trip to Iceland would highly recommend to people going short visits. Our driver and guide, Bjorn, was great and very informative.

Golden Circle minibus tour from Reykjavik Very scenic tour we saw some beautiful glaciers , waterfalls, visited the national park and even stopped to pet some Icelandic horses and a stop for lunch do the golden circle tour you won’t be disappointed. We had a really nice tour guide Bjorn very interesting and informative

Lots of Chinos. BUT very excellent guide, Iceland. The guide-driver was really kind. His name is a “small bear” but there’s huge problem, you know that there’s chinese tour separately. But so many loud chinese are together with this tour. They usually don’t keep the gathering times. I really don’t know why they come to this.

Definitely an unforgettable journey of 2024! It was a fabulous experience traveling with the great tour guide Thales (extraordinary time management and being considerate) and amazing fellow travellers! Plus the trip highlights - glacier hike, whale watching, northern light, rainbow clouds, ice cave and hot springs that render it a memorable journey!

Unforgettable Iceland Adventure with Amazing Tour Guide! I had the pleasure of traveling to Iceland from late December to early January 2025, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The scenery was absolutely stunning – from the icy landscapes to the spectacular views of glaciers, waterfalls, and volcanic terrain. There’s so much to see and do, and even though time was short, we managed to pack in so many incredible experiences!A huge shoutout to Iskren, our tour guide, who made the trip even more special. He was not only knowledgeable and friendly but went above and beyond to make sure we got the most out of every moment. From giving us great tips on how to optimize our time, to being extremely helpful and accommodating, Iskren truly made the difference. He was so dedicated that, even on our last day when we had a long drive back to Reykjavik, he made a detour to ensure we had the chance to see the Northern Lights. It wasn’t even part of the plan, but Iskren made sure we each got an unforgettable photo of this magical experience.I would absolutely come back to Iceland, and I’d love to have Iskren as my tour guide again. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore Iceland in a truly personal and immersive way!

Christmas 2024 😍 Had an absolutely amazing time! Was so great getting to know the individuals in our group and am so thankful how well we all got along. Although December = mostly white and snow, we had a few days where we had both some sun and gorgeous skies, as well days of storms and crazy rides. We even had aurora lights! It was definitely an adventure I will hold onto forever. And highly recommend to all.I strongly believe our trip would not have been the same without our incredible guide, Thales. Who made sure we saw as much as we could, even given the tough weather on some days. He made sure we were always safe first and comfortable on our trip. And of course, kept track of any aurora sightings. So grateful and soo worth it!
