I joined the South Coast 2-day tour while Phile(I guess shall spell like this) was our tour guide. It was a wonderful journey as we fully experienced the Glacier hiking and other scenic views. Due to weather issue we changed the routine to hike in the first day so that we could enjoy the sunshine on the glacier. The hiking guide Anna was also great, leading us comfortably to each site. The second day, we met with horrible wind, making us stay for some time, but Phile still managed to let us visit every remain spots on the list. Finally, the south coast views were really fantastic. Compared to a 1-day tour, I think 2-day tour could enjoy these views better.
Joined 1 day Snæfellsnes tour. Very strong gust, rain, snow for the first few hours. I'm surprised the tours isn't cancelled for obvious safety reasons. 2.5hrs to go and 2.5hrs back. In between was basically point to point Drop-off and pickups. Not much guiding. Driver spoke only the bare essentials. Vehicle condition is poor. Door hinges felt very damaged. Hard to open and close door, manually mind you. Driver did tried his best to drive safely in whiteout conditions at some places, with icy roads. But overall it felt a lot of money wasted. Tour finished 10hrs instead of 12hrs. Couldn't help feeling shortchanged.
Best experience ever
Amazing experience! Snorkeling in Iceland was truly unforgettable—crystal-clear water, stunning blue colors, and the surreal feeling of floating between two tectonic plates. The dry suit kept me warm, and our guide (Lil) was friendly, professional, and made everything feel safe and well-organized. A must-do activity in Iceland. Highly recommend!

Just finished the 3 day South Coast Tour with Haffi!
An amazing experience, the itinerary was well planned, the hotels were we’re staying at were also well maintained, clean and safe.
Special thanks to Haffi for the effort in trying to find and constantly updating us on Northern Light spots. His wicked sense of humor really made the trip all the more fun.
It was our first time visiting Iceland, and we chose to go for a 3-day tour around South coast and Golden Circle. While we were not too lucky with the Northern lights unfortunately, the rest of the trip was mesmerising! The places we visited were fantastic, and it was well balanced between driving and sightseeing. Glacier hike is a breathtaking experience, go for it if you have a chance!
A special shoutout to our amazing guide Haffi. Being an amazing driver with a charming personality, he radiated positivity and made sure that everyone enjoyed the trip. Thanks a lot Haffi, those 3 days were wonderful!
I went on the 4 day tour which is actually a combination of a 3 day south coast tour plus a 1 day Snæfellsnes tour.
the minibus was quite clean they are more or less on time though on the first day you may or may not have to wait for 30 or so minutes while the driver/guide is picking the passengers up. the hotels were quite nice considering how you will basically be travelling in the middle of nowhere.
also our tour guide David was not just a good tour guide but he was also a good human being. he personaly helped me have an easier time in Iceland and helped me solve some of my issues even when he didn't have to as a guide.
my advice to those visiting Iceland is don't disregard the capital Rekjavik and think you only need to visit the Glaciers and the waterfalls and Geothermal areas and that's it. I would say spend minimum two days just relaxing and chilling (literaly) in Reykjavik just walk around the city and enjoy your time. take it easy. not every day you spend in Iceland has to be just constant travels. also if you visit in the winter be carefull of the ice on the sidewalk. it can be quite slippery. also in Iceland they mostly use cards for payment of basically everything. so make sure to have say a visa card or something similar on your person.
An Unforgettable Journey Across Iceland
Our guide in Iceland was incredibly kind, warm, and professional throughout the entire journey. From the very beginning, they made us feel welcomed and well taken care of, always patiently answering our questions and checking on everyone in the group. The weather was surprisingly good, which made the experience even more enjoyable, and the guide took full advantage of it by leading us to some truly breathtaking landscapes. Thanks to their knowledge and thoughtful arrangements, we were able to fully appreciate the beauty of Iceland in a relaxed and memorable way. It was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iceland!!!
A taste of Iceland
Definitely enjoyed this experience! Our experienced guide, Rocky brought us along the entire southern coast, sharing some of the interesting history and experiences living in Iceland. His awesome playlist was great, and well chosen for this trip! The Glacier hikes and Ice-cave mini-expeditions were well organised and a unique experience that are a must-go! Northern lights is dependent on weather conditions, so manage your expectations. However, I do think that the trip itself is well worth it. The hotels that were arranged for the nights were comfotable. If possible, I recommend that you may want to pack using backpacks for ease of transport as you'll be changing hotels on both nights.
