The relaxing retreat we needed! The most relaxing and idyllic trip that we really needed! Kathy & Angus are the most fantastic hosts and have created the most beautiful cabins! The kitchen comes well equipped, including washing up liquid, cloths, dishwasher tablets. The beautiful bathroom has local shampoos & conditioners. The bath is fantastic! The bed is large and comfortable with high quality fabrics - we slept so well! The website they have created is super helpful and thorough! This is the best cabin we have ever stayed in and a trip we won’t be forgetting anytime soon!

A very special week in a magical place. Prior to leaving London for the journey north to the Outer Hebrides for a reunion with old university friends, I looked at the website and thought "that looks really pretty". I can assure you, nothing can prepare you for just how breathtakingly beautiful this place is. The incredible panoramic views to the beach, Vallay island, the Atlantic ocean, Lewis and Harris, is something that has to be seen to be believed. The love, care, and attention to detail that has gone into creating the cabins makes you feel instantly at home and relaxed. They are thoughtfully designed and perfectly equipped with all the facilities you may require during your stay, very well appointed, and the bed.......best night's sleep in a very long time. The huge bath even has its own special window from which you can observe the changing weather and light, or the rising moon casting its orange glow over the ocean.....utter bliss. The proprietors Kathryn and Angus are incredibly warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about the islands. They can recommend places to go for whatever you may be looking for (in my case, otters!) and the best people to consult for more information. I cannot thank them enough for making the week so memorable and special. This is a very special place indeed, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

A blissful week away in the most stunning cabin. We had a truly wonderful time staying in Lolaire for a week. Thanks to Kathryn and Angus who have not only thought of everything they also were really proactive in making sure that we were getting the most out of our time there. The information app really helped us to cram in lots to get the most out of our days. The luxurious treats and the whole design of the place is truly unique and the views are just stunning. The deer were rutting and the birds were singing. Utter bliss. Thank you so much. We will be back very soon.

The perfect getaway Cathryn and Angus have created the dreamiest accomodations in a wonderful setting. (And are such welcoming hosts). The treehouses are all spaced out and private, ours had such wonderful views out to Varley which we lost hours too throughout the days. The bathroom is huge, and the free standing bath and views is one not to be missed (perfect for a stormy day, watching the ever changing scenery). The recliner sofa was a bonus, and very welcomed after a day of exploring, the kitchen is well stocked and features high quality items such as a bosh oven and neff dishwasher. The bedroom and balcony are perfect if the weather had been kinder I think we would have spent a lot of time out on it. The bed is super comfy with lovely quality bedding. We saw stags, deer, eagles and short eared owls all from the treehouse or just by the end of the drive. It truly is the most stunning place and we can't wait to come back. P.s when you arrive I recommend reading the guest book - you'll find lots of useful info on where animals have been spotted recently.
