This was one of the best places I’ve stayed at. The location and hospitality was perfect. If you prefer to chill and relax, without the hustle and bustle of the city - this place is for you. The amazing pool area and breakfast were a very beautiful surprise. Lili and her team are very welcoming and knowledgeable and always around to chat.

Really amazing lodge! This has been my 2nd time here now and love this place. 🧡 The staff is incredibly friendly and the pool and jacuzzi plus all the common spaces are so relaxing and beautiful! Plus the breakfast is great!! Can definitely recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing stay a little bit away from the center. They also booked a SUP sunrise tour for me which was incredible! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻☀️🫶

If I were selfish, I’d keep this to myself, but I feel generous today :). I’ve traveled quite a bit, and this is by far the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. The amenities are outstanding: an outdoor gym, swimming pool, hot tub, cozy sofas, just to name a few. The dorm rooms offer privacy with curtains around each bed. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fantastic, and if you’re lucky, you might even get pancakes ;) ! Renting a car is definitely recommended, but Uber are also very affordable. The location is perfect to explore the Algarve, try SUP, surf, kayaking to see the caves by the sea. I personally came here to kite surf - the spot is just a 30-minute drive away - and will absolutely be back as soon as I can!

Received a very warm welcome by the friendliest of staff. Certainly felt at home, which is a unique experience and much appreciated. The outdoor area is a dream! Fully equipped gym, swimming pool, hot tub, premium lounge area and an outdoor bar. What an experience, one that I recommend highly. Thank you team Vida Boa 🙏

I am recommending this hostel with my heart! Lily the host and all the others are nice and lovely people, the place was clean and very relaxing! Will for sure come back :)

I can’t tell you how incredible this property is. The beds are comfortable. Everyone on site (guest and staff) were lovely. The properties amenities— lounge chairs, pool, hot tub are wonderful during the summer days. Breakfast was delicious, fresh fruit, perfect avocados, and either pancakes or waffles. This hostel is only 10-15 mins from Lagos. It’s a short 20 min walk into Luz. I was able to Uber/Bolt everywhere for ~5-10€. Lily ran a load of laundry for me since I was a week into my month long trip. I booked 3 excursions and went on 2. I did the 7 hanging valley hike self-led with the All Trails app. Dogs beach wine with Chris (do it for the dogs and the lunch of the beach)! Last excursion was the golden coast cruise (all of these are listed on the adventure page of Vida Boa’s website). I wish I would’ve stayed longer, this place is a hidden gem.

The best place to stay! Clean, comfort, big swimmingpool and a hottub, a lot of relax areas, nice food, good bar and amazing hosts!

This place is amazing; beautiful decor, perfect pool, jacuzzi and bar and even equipped with an outdoor gym, you couldn't ask for more! Lilly however is the icing on the cake; she is the perfect host, and organised our whole trip! We were a large party of 20 and she couldn’t have done more for us! The breakfasts and evening meals were 5* and cocktails round the pool were top class! Thank you Lilly, we will be back!!

I don't know where to start describing this place. On the one hand I want to tell the whole world about how wonderful it is and on the other hand I don't want to share it so that this unique place can remain a secret gem :P You will appreciate and love this beautiful location if you have an eye for detail, if relaxation and unwinding are more important to you than binge drinking and if you can appreciate the quiet but central location. Lily and the hosts will make sure you have an unforgettable time and are always available for insider tips. The lodge, rooms and beds are very well maintained and clean and the highlight, apart from the pool and sun loungers, is the incredibly delicious breakfast, which is prepared daily with fresh fruit and treats. PS. It's even included ;) See for yourself! Lots of love to Lily and her staff and family who make you feel at home away from home. xoxo

What a beautiful and relaxing place. I was here for a day retreat and it was just what I was hoping for - a beautiful, serene, and relaxing place with a wonderful yoga class, delicious food and a refreshing time poolside. I hope to be back again soon!

Lily, Lucas, and moa made this stay awesome! It's like a love island villa for hostel prices, amazing food amazing drinks and you'll meet a great group of people. Can't recommend this place enough

Lily was fantastic to communicate with and provided us with loads of ideas and recommendations for activities and restaurants. She also helped to organise everything for us including the airport transfers, bookings and even picking us up from local spots. The accommodation was absolutely perfect for our group of 15! The rooms are lovely and bright and everywhere is spotlessly clean. The outside area is divided into different sections where you can kick back and relax. Tasty, fresh breakfast is served in the morning and dinner was arranged for us at the lodge on one of our evenings. The location of the lodge is set in a nice quiet area. An easy walk into Luz and to the coastal road. We all thought it was idyllic. Thank you Lily. 🤩

My husband and I had an amazing holiday at Vida Boa Lodge. Lily was such a good host who made us feel so welcome and brought everyone together. We loved the communal breakfast and chatting to the staff and other guests. All the little touches and the decor and atmosphere just made the whole holiday feel really special and so relaxing. Walking distance into Luz where there are lots of lovely restaurants and bars but is quiet and pretty with a lovely beach.

I would highly recommend Vida Boa Lodge - the lodge and the grounds are stunning and maintained to the highest standard. Rooms are lovely with balconies and completely spotless. Lily and the team were fab - friendly and helpful, Lily sorted out plans for the entire holiday and we had the best time. Not to mention the cocktails round the pool - I want to go back! x

Loved our time here! Lily was a great host, makes a fantastic Margarita and couldn't have been more helpful. The pool, rooms and surroundings were all so clean. The food we had on our last evening was so tasty. Thanks again xxx

I’ve just come back from a hen do where we took over the whole villa and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The place is huge and beautiful and Lilly looked after us so well. We wanted for nothing! We had a delicious paella there on the first night and a perfect day by the pool with MANY frozen stawberry daiquiris - the perfect spot for a hassle free hen do!
