Wonderful chalet - amazing views and located in a small mountain town. The chalet itself is very well appointed with a lot of space for anything/everything you are looking for (from common areas to be together to quiet desks to get some work done to a game/movie room). The view from the dining table to the deck of the mountains is unforgettable. The communication with the host was super clear and a available. Highly recommend making a trip to Villars and staying at Chalet Melchoir.

Wir verbrachten Ostern mit der ganzen Familie im wunderschönen Chalet Melchior. Wir wurden von David sehr gut betreut und bekamen bei Fragen immer sehr schnell Antwort. Das Chalet ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und hat alles was man braucht. Auch die Küche ist mit allem bestückt was man zum Kochen benötigt. Das Chalet liegt an einer guten Lage, man ist auch zu Fuss schnell im Dorf oder an der Seilbahnstation. Wir werden sicher irgendwann wieder unsere Ferien im Chalet Melchior verbringen!

Magnifique, tout était magnifique, je ne trouve pas d’autre mot pour évoquer mon séjour au chalet Melchior . Le chalet lui-même est une splendeur. Tout y est agréable, confortable, du meilleur goût, jusqu’au moindre détail. La vue est à couper le souffle et vous accompagne bien après votre départ. Les hôtes sont disponibles et réactifs pour vous aider bien aimablement en cas d’inquiétude. Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux, j’espère pouvoir revenir l’année prochaine.

☺Das luxuriöse, grosszügige Chalet Melchior bietet alles, was der Gast sich wünscht: Eine top eingerichtete moderne Küche, ein gemütlicher Wohnbereich mit Cheminée und bequemen Sitzmöbeln, geräumige Zimmer mit grossen Wandschränken, diverse Badezimmer, teils sowohl mit Dusche und grosser Badewanne, und nicht zu vergessen den grossen Outdoor-Whirlpool! Und alles ist blitz sauber! Die Lage des Chalets bietet viel Ruhe und eine fantastische Aussicht.
(Ein kleines Anliegen, als Sommergäste, hätten wir noch: Zwei bequeme Sonnenliegen für den Garten wären "nice to have").
Das Chalet Melchior garantiert den perfekten Wohlfühl-Aufenthalt. Die sympathischen britischen Besitzer, Zany und David Arnold-Smith, sind jederzeit per WhatsApp für Fragen oder Anliegen erreichbar und geben dem Gast bereits im Voraus viele nützliche Tipps.
Wir sind begeistert vom wunderschönen Chalet Melchior, kommen gerne wieder und können es wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

I am writing this review on behalf of our family. This chalet is out of this world. Incredibly spacious, well equipped and luxuriously furnished with comfort truly top of mind. The views from the chalet are breath taking and truly heavenly. As soon as you arrive, peace and calm overtakes you. We loved the location for its privacy, views, and easy access to hiking trails, shopping and so much more. There is so much to do nearby and not too far driving from the Chalet. The hosts are wonderful; super responsive and so kind and generous. We had some reservation challenges and they handled this so kindly, they truly went above and beyond what was needed from them. We are sad to leave and hope to visit again in the future.

What an absolutely fabulous chalet! It exceeded our expectations, it was as if it were made for our family. We took our five daughters and husbands to Switzerland 🇨🇭 so they could experience my homeland. Walking through the front door and seeing the spectacular views brought us to tears. We will cherish the many wonderful memories we made at this beautiful chalet.

Such a beautiful home, surrounded by beautiful sceneries! Its the kind of holiday home that makes you want to live in it for real.
It has 6 rooms in total, each fully furnished and beautifully decorated. The 3 rooms on the top floor are big and comes with ensuite bathrooms. The 3 rooms at the basement shares a communal toilet, next to the laundry room, although not as big as the 3 suite rooms on top, they are also still spacious for a couple.
The kitchen is fully functional and my family had the opportunity to cook many delicious meals when we were there.

We took this Chalet for
A 50th birthday treat and it did not disappoint. It is an amazing space that perfectly suited two families. The snow was fantastic so we could ski to the lift. To come back and sooth the muscles in the hot tub was incredible while looking out across the mountains. We even saw a wild cat on the prowl!
