We had a great time learning to make croissants from making the dough, laminating, shaping, baking, and finally, eating them warm from the oven. Yum! Javi was a wonderful instructor. It was a great class and it is fun if you come alone or with friends.

What an incredibly fun experience! Together with my brother, I attended the October 19th class making homemade raviolis and tiramisu. It was both well orchestrated and informative! I am definitely looking forward to returning for another fun-filled cooking adventure!

We loved our classes w/Javi. Our first class was Empanada's, YUM, we are continuing to use the recipes she taught us several years ago.
The croissant class was the best ever. Clear and helpful instructions brought us the best croissants ever.

I’ve done the pasta and sourdough courses with Javi and loved both! I’m hoping to be able to work in another soon. It was a great way to meet other locals with like interests. I highly recommend for small groups and couples. Fun, informative and delicious!

This sourdough class was amazing. They walked us the entire process for making sourdough bread giving plenty of time for questions. Definitely worth money and the hour+ drive.

I recently completed the Croissant making course. The course exceeded my expectations. Javi, Rachel, and Gabby took good care of us. Javi explained things in a way that was simple to understand and replicable. I intend to take more classes with the studio. If you are looking to start baking or improve your technique I strongly recommend you book a course. You will be glad that you did.

Croissant class was absolutely amazing! Javiera (Javi) taught us how to make croissants from scratch. She is super friendly, fun and very knowledgeable. Everything was extremely organized, clean, easy to follow, and the spacing is great for everyone to feel safe. At the end of the class you enjoy a meal and take home some of the delicious croissants you made. I recommend vituperio 100%. Thank you Javi, Raquel and Maria for a wonderful experience.

This was my second class with Javi and it won't be my last. Whether you are a novice baker or a more experienced one, you will learn so much. Javi is a wonderful teacher and encourages questions every step along the way. With the sourdough class, not only do you get the education and detailed instructions, but also two loaves of bread (one baked in class and a dough to take home and bake), 2 lbs of locally milled flour, a banneton, a dough scraper and a scoring blade...AND Javi's starter! Not to mention a wonderful lunch! What a bargain! (My first class with Javi was croissant making which was also amazing!) Honestly, I had tried making sourdough starter twice and failed both times. Once I took this class, everything finally made sense and I look forward to baking with Javi's starter for years to come.

What a fantastic experience from beginning to end. It was highly organized, thorough, the portions were generous for both eating there and taking home to family, and the others in the class were so much fun. I was already thinking about what other classes I want to take before I'd even left the croissants course. I was so motivated to try croissants on my own that I tried it at home just a couple days later. I felt I had the skills needed to succeed (and troubleshoot when needed).

Brilliant class. Javiera Montoya (“Javi”) explained and demonstrated a number of important tweaks and adjustments that I hadn’t seen or read elsewhere. My sourdough had always looked and tasted wonderful, but was far too dense. I learned (among other things) that I was manipulating my dough far too much (she demonstrated both how and how much one should), and refrigerating it too soon after manipulation. The entire staff was helpful and supportive, and of course their bread was fantastic. Highly recommended.

I took a class in May knowing absolutely nothing about baking sourdough bread. Javi was a wonderful teacher. She made the class fun but I also learned so much. She really wants you to walk away feeling confident that you can go home and bake some delicious sourdough breads, scones, etc. Ever since the class, I've been successfully baking sourdough bread as well as other goodies using sourdough starter or discards such as scones, tarts and cinnamon rolls. It's been a great learning experience with very tangible benefits. I highly recommend her classes. I plan to take another one when time allows.

The class was great fun and informative! I learned to make ricotta cheese and my own pizza dough! I am looking forward to taking more classes! The teacher is awesome!

Vituperio Baking Studio was such a great experience! It exceeded my expectations. Javi was very knowledgeable, friendly and made you feel very comfortable asking any questions. I left feeling very confident and excited about making sourdough bread. We went home with full bellies from a wonderful lunch & snacks, breads and gifts. I highly recommend Vituperio!
