Cavern Club Beatles
We visited for the Cavern Club Beatles show on Halloween. At £30 I thought the admission was a tad steep BUT having seen the same people actually in the Cavern we decided it was worth it.There were 7 people in our Party 5 adults 2 teens. 5 of us had meals and in the most part the food was good (the salt and pepper fries were majorly over seasoned.Bar Prices were too high IMHO at £5.65 a pint (lager, cider, bitter etc) and £4.20 for a large Coke or Lemonade. We all had our photos taken upon arrival £10 photo £5 fridge magnet £5 keyringAll in all a very good show, staff courteous and knowledgeable, prices too high though.Inly downpart was a few sound issues in 1st half of show

Don't go to the darts exhibitions
I went to see "Van Gerwen V Humphries" and the show was false advertised.I felt like I was at an auction house instead of a darts event and when booking my ticket it didn't say anything about an auction at the event and most of the stuff selling at the auction you can buy on eBay and because of the auctions and raffles I had to miss the second half of the main event to be able to get the last bus home other wise I would of had to pay £20 in a taxi back to St Annes.I also thought £6.10 for a pint of Carling Dark fruit in a plastic cup was overpriced but the staff were nice.If Viva want their locals to watch their shows then they shouldn't false advertise events because it's bad for business and not everybody that visits Viva is a tourist.

A Great Night Out! Don't Miss It!
Had a great experience at Viva. I was greeted by the lovely Tom who addressed me by name and took me to my table for the evening. I had booked a lowest price table with a possible restricted view of the stage, however, Tom offered me an upgrade to a central, premium table which I gratefully accepted. The waiting staff were excellent and provided a polite, friendly and efficient service. The show was highly professional with very talented singers and dancers. I highly recommend this as a thoroughly enjoyable night out.

Excellent Experience
We went to see The Jersey Beats and I booked as an anniversary present for me and husband. We always go to blackpool and visit pubs so thought this would also be a pleasant change. We also like Frankie Valli music and were excited about finally getting to see a tribute act. From start to finish, from booking tickets and follow up, to entering the venue, to the host who guides you in to your table and explains what is what, to the customer service, table service, speed and quality of food and reasonable prices, also waited to your table pre or during show, to the compere who was funny and interactive, to the tribute show which was something else, a totally value for money enjoyable memorable experience. Cant wait to go again.

Disappointing! Country Legends was far too loud to enjoy. My ears ached. Food was cold But nice dessert. Fix your sound . We returned because The Jersey Boys night out had been fantastic. So disappointed

I will never get that time or money back. Don't make the mistake I did!
What a waste of money and a Saturday night. I was expecting a show with some info about Elton John, a bit of a story, or at least his songs sung well by a tribute act, and in some kind of chronological order. This can't even be classed as a theatre show. It is a man vaguely dressed as Elton John, singing his songs fairly well, certain parts of some songs he does sound like Elton! He's a nice guy and tries hard to make it a decent performance. But it's crap. I saw it in Northampton, many people walked out within the first half hour. The backing band are the main problem (well except for the content!) 3 guys all stood there seeming like they hate their lives. No interaction with the main man, or each other. Felt like they hated each other, even could have beenhe first time they met! Just some random men getting paid to stand on stage and play. The only time I saw them come out of themselves was when they turned up at the bar during the interval, when they proceeded to drink loads and mess about. It felt really unprofessional. No backdrop, no set, not even some pictures of Elton or anything at all. Just a curtain. No one moved for the whole performance, nothing changed. I felt like I was at a school assembly. It was truly awful and I do feel bad saying that as I can see the lead guy was trying hard, and he did have some charisma and liked to interact with the audience. But to be honest it was just innuendo after innuendo which in the end gets verytiresome.I really wanted a tribute to Elton's life and music. I really expected more from a prestigious theatre. Instead I will never get that Saturday night back, or my money! Avoid this show like the plague, it's amateur and awful.I have seen better Elton tributes in my local pub!
