I had a buddy of mine reccomend this place and i was looking forward to trying them out. I can honestly say I'm pretty dissapointed and i would be extremely embarrased to rent this trailer out to anybody if i was the owner. I rented the 20 foot premium car hauler and there was nothing premium about it. It had a missing marker light, passenger blinker doesnt work, passenger fender is falling off, ramps are a pain to get in then holes as you have to slide them under the trailer and pick them up and then slide them in instead of them locking in as intended (hence why i forgot the ramps in the bed of my truck and had to run back to drop them off which i admit i overlooked), one of the d rings was completley missing from the fromt driver side and therefore could not strap the car down from that point which i did not like, 3 out of the 4 tires were bald and there was no spare tire at all. I just wish the trailers were maintained better and more frequently.
I will never go through Uhaul to rent a trailer ever!!!!!! Cheap pricing, great customer service, and always there when I need troubleshooting. The fact that they're 24/7 is the bonus of a lifetime. We rented a trailer to move a vehicle and wound up not even being able to use it when a tire blew out. There was no spare, so my husband went through the trouble of replacing the tire and returning the trailer. He was told we would be reimbursed and then was met with continuous excuses. We were not refunded nor reimbursed for the tire.
NEVER USE U-HAUL AGAIN. I write this review quite a while after Iast used this company. Quite frankly everytime I look at my project truck, I'm glad I was able to rent a real trailer that came with a winch. Very easy to do business with, trailer was ready when I rented it, easy pick up and close to multiple interstates/routes to jump from. Everytime I think I might need a trailer, of many different varieties, I log in to check to see what's available and within a reasonable time of one or two days, if not exactly, he has a trailer available!
I've recommended to many people, and I'm looking forward to doing business in the near future!
Here is my experience:
I rented a car hauler several days prior and carefully chose the trailer based on my needs and the capacity of my tow vehicle. I purchased the trailer for the time allotment I needed and then proceeded to fill out the online docusign form and that's the last you hear from them. No confirmation or instructions, only, you completed the form. Ok, fine. I emailed the day prior just to confirm everything and I received a response stating everything was all set.
I arrive that morning to pick up the trailer and first thing I notice is there is no jack handle. Well I found the handle but there was not actual way to use it because it was completely broken. Upon further inspection I notice that there are no ramps! So the trailer was entirely unusable, especially as a car hauler. Not to mention all the random parts laying on the thing.
I call the number and of course nobody answers but I get a text message back. Smh. So anyway, I had to get my truck up the road for a 9am dyno appt which I obviously couldn't make and lost my $200 deposit and a day of work. My advice to any prospective users of this "company" is to inspect the trailer prior to renting it because a couple of them looked to be in shambles.
Glad there is finally a small business renting trailers for great prices !! Quick and Easy reservation system. Easy pickup and drop off. Just don’t stare at the massive National Guard building or you might miss it. Trailer in great condition. Looking forward to the next rental !! Repeat Custom Promo Codes ????
