I consulted this company for my first residential home purchase and mostly worked with Julianne and Fiona. They were a delight to work with. They were very clear, responsive, and understanding of my situation. Highly recommend them!

I worked with Michael and Marlene on my recent co-op purchase in NYC. I am a newbie to NY. I found the lengthy process of home buying very frustrating but this is the accepted norm I guess. Michael was always friendly, attentive and patient and had my best interests in mind when handling my contracts and all the bumps along the way. Very happy with their professionalism and guidance. And very happy in my new home.

I hired them to represent me during my first home buying experience. They were absolutely wonderful. I worked most closely with Despina and Jennifer also supported. Communication was prompt and detailed. They are always happy to have a phone call when I didn’t understand something, which was frequently. They advocated for me during the contract negotiations and closing. I felt very well represented and guided through the whole process. Highly recommend.

Eugene and team were a pleasure to work with across the couple of transactions. Everyone was helpful and responsive throughout the documentation and closing process.

It took me some time to write this because of all the emotions I have been going through, but in a nutshell, my purchase transaction for a condo in Manhattan fell through last week. I believe that Weidenbaum and Harari bears primary responsibility for the deal falling apart, and I deeply regret ever hiring them. A summary of what went wrong: • My case was assigned to a lawyer (Eugene Sarantis) who was on vacation and would not return until the following week. I was not happy that my case was being assigned to an associate out on vacation but I let it go. • It was virtually impossible to get in contact with my lawyer. Despite my repeated attempts to reach Eugene via phone and e-mail, he did not respond to my request for an update until I directly asked one of the partners, Jack Harari, to intervene. The first time I was actually able to speak with Eugene was 13 days after the contract had already been sent. • I was not brought into the contract negotiation process until the very end. I was not even sent a copy of the contract and riders until several days after they had been sent to Weidenbaum and Harari, and as referenced earlier, I was unable to speak with Eugene about the contract and provide input until 13 days into the contract negotiation process. • Revisions were made to the contract and riders without my knowledge or consent. During the 13 days before I was finally able to speak with Eugene, negotiations and changes were being made to the contract and riders without my consent, and in many cases, without my even knowing about the requested changes. Although I was initially told by Jack that the entire contract negotiation process would likely take 7-10 days, the contract was still not finalized 14 days after it had initially been sent. By that point, the seller had become extremely frustrated with the process and pulled out of the deal. In hindsight, I believe that my biggest mistake in this condo purchase transaction was hiring Weidenbaum and Harari to represent me. If I could do it over again, I would have hired a different legal team, and I genuinely believe that the outcome would have been different if I had.

We recently arrived in the US and needed legal assistance with purchasing our new home. Michael J. Zadjelovich was incredibly helpful and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I was very impressed with his clear and comprehensive explanation when he reviewed the first draft contract with me and concise list of action items after the discussion. Eugene is very responsive and always goes above and beyond when I need advice on the process. In addition, it is very pleasant to speak to Eugene, since he was always calm, never in a rush and making sure all my questions and concerns are sufficiently addressed. I had the pleasure to work with Julianne, Marlene, and Barry. All three were more than helpful throughout the entire process of purchasing my co-op in NYC. Communication was excellent and they were always on top of things when it came to deadlines and retrieving any pertinent information. Julianne also did a wonderful job on the actual closing of the co-op. Overall I would recommend their services to anyone in the NYC area.

I worked with Eugene and Xavier on my first co-op purchase in Hell's Kitchen, and I'm really glad that I worked with them! Eugene's communication and prompt and easy to understand. At closing, I was a little overwhelmed with the number of documents that I needed to sign, but Eugene did a great job of explaining each document in plain English. Xavier is very knowledgeable about the overall transaction process and he very well managed multiple stakeholders involved.
