Eli was always available and offered great advice, he absolutely solved every problem I ever posed, and short of applying for jobs for me, he couldn't have done much more to help with my job search. He quickly understood my needs, helped work though hesitations and doubts, and gave me the skills required to take the opportunities that arose. I was a bit lost at the beginning of my journey, having not applied for jobs or been out 'in the market' for years. Eli quickly brought me up to speed and gave me the appropriate tools to succeed.

When I came into the coaching program, I felt so lost, had very low confidence, and was not sure what steps to take in the direction of finding a new career path. This program really helped me to learn about my strengths, what motivates me, and my interests. I had never really taken the time for that kind of self-discovery and found it so essential to the entire process. From there, I learned how to have professional conversations with people in the fields that I was exploring. This stage boosted my confidence in talking to others and helped me to realize what it is that I want to pursue professionally. The best part of the coaching process was developing a really strong accomplishment-based resume. My resumes in the past were not targeted and consisted of a list of responsibilities. I encountered success applying for jobs online because my updated resume really stood out in the application pool. While I changed courses during the process and now am starting a position that wasn't originally on my radar, I feel so proud of the work I put in and trust that I found a role and workplace that is the best fit for me!

The Your Career Strategy program came at the perfect time for me. I started the program highly burnt out, with low confidence and unclear of my direction for my next professional steps. I never felt judged or pushed past my capacity. Life-changing. Really. I came into this program lacking confidence and direction. Even with all of my experience, I always felt that I was inferior. In addition, I didn't have a clear vision of what I wanted to do and was willing to take everything. This program has given me direction and a clear understanding of the type of work (external relations, mission-based, etc) that speaks to me. My whole way of thinking has also changed because of my coach. My approach to job searching, the way I present myself in interviews, and my confidence has completely changed after working with my coach. I have turned down jobs -- that I normally would have "jumped to" -- because I wasn't comfortable with the fit, negotiated my salary, and even requested another interview with a manager before accepting a position. My whole approach has improved, and it is all because of my coach and this program.

Before I joined the program, I knew something doesn’t add up in my life. I was demotivated at work, I didn’t really like what I was doing, but I didn’t know what else to do or how to change the situation. I was overwhelmed – gosh there are so many options! Then I got introduced to Eli. I appreciate the thorough approach he took. We spoke about everything, but I was never told what shall I be doing. Instead, I was guided step by step by Eli’s questions and exercises to figure out myself what I enjoy doing, what I am good at and finally what my whole life should look like. And most importantly - then I was pushed to actually take action to get closer towards it. I was provided tools and support to make the leap towards a better future, which I could never do alone. This coaching program changed my view of career coaching. I felt like the person on the other side of the line truly cares about my career growth and wants to help me get the best job I can get. There were many light-bulb moments that occurred during my sessions that changed my perspective on the job hunt. Instead of approaching it as a laborious task, this program turned the job search process into a fun activity with clear tasks and deadlines.
