I want to thank Dr. Ray for his compassion, professionalism, and help during a difficult time for my husband and me. He came into our home and put our poor 3-year-old cat Forrest to peace. As everyone else posted, could not be more thankful and grateful for Dr. Ray. Our Olive took a turn last week and we knew it was time. After agreeing and seeking options the other options made me talk to a robot chat after hours. We knew Olive was ready to so we didn’t want to wait. I emailed Dr. Ray at almost 11pm, he responded right away and told me he would squeeze me in first thing in the morning. I immediately felt so much better about this hard decision we were having to make and in good hands. He called me first thing, was so sweet and kind, then gave me an explanation of the process, asked if I had any questions and gave an ETA. He came and was so incredibly kind, soft spoken and careful. Again, cannot thank you enough Dr. Ray, you’re truly doing gods work and it takes such a special person to help people along in their day of need.

Dr. Ray (owner of Zen Dog Vet) was a true comfort when we had to make one of the awful-est decisions to put our 14-yo Cocker Spaniel down. Dr. Ray is so compassionate. The process was very peaceful and professional. We are grateful to have had such a wonderful resource during this devastating time.

Dr Ray is an amazing and very knowledgeable vet. Very prompt and fast response time. I believe he runs Zen Dog by himself, so that speaks volumes. He is very professional, sympathetic, and patient, and will give you time to say goodbye to your pet. Dr Ray was able to reassure me that it was the right choice, but not an easy one. He also will keep you updated on your pet’s ashes if you so choose to get them back from the crematory. I have only used the euthanasia service from him, but he has other specialties under his belt. The process was straightforward. Dr. was respectful, transparent, and willing to discuss any of our concerns. It's taken me some time to write this, but I am thankful for the experience in-home. Getting our boy's remains was a quick turn-around and hassle-free. In home euthanasia is not cheap, but Zen Dog is moderately priced. I recommend if this is an option.

The vet responded quickly to my online request and was available same day for a home visit which was very convenient since my dog had cancer and was declining quickly without any notice. He was very respectful and sensitive to the situation. I would definitely recommend their services.

Dr. Spragley was very kind and thoughtful during an extremely difficult time, comforting us and also treating Coconut with the utmost tenderness. He patiently and honestly answered our many questions. We met with him first for a quality of life consultation, and that was instrumental in helping us navigate Coconut's last few months with as much grace and dignity as possible for her.
