We were very excited to take this trip and unfortunately, the river rafting was just okay. The novelty of the rafts is cool, but this is not the actual river that the banana's were transported over. This is very misleading information in the brochure. Everything is a tourist gimmic. Guys throwing toy rafts from the bank for money, ladies selling food and water and goods from the river bank - for money. Everyone is selling something for money on this trip.
Our captain James was very nice and an old-timer with over 25 years on the river. The transportation via A/C bus was part of our tour and the ride through the countryside was nice. It is a little pricey for what you get.

This was our first time with water tubing and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. More than any of us, our 6 yeard old kid enjoyed the most. What added to this wonderful experience was the patient, friendly, energetic, caring and committed guys or guides we had along. Thank you guys for ensuring our safety all the while. You were are Super men!!!

I did go on a little adventure yesterday. I have only good things to say about the experience.
Driver who took us there EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!! Just EXCELLENT. Friendly, elegant, informative, impeccable appearance, vehicle comfortable and CLEAN, he was patient, accommodating, I am out of adjectives.
The attraction.... My BIGGEST impression is not the river, but the guides. I never saw young men so ON IT, dedicated, vigilant, observant, pleasant. I do not have the words. Those guys work so HARD !!!!!!!!!!! I do not see how ANYONE can come out of there and not tip them. I do not CARE if you booked at the RIU and it was "all included" , TIP THOSE GUYS , over and above. I told one I bet you sleep good at night.
The attraction sells itself. Beautiful setting , beautiful river, fun ride.
Now the food. OMG , Lord have mercy, pass the fork ( confession, Nevile George took too long to bring a fork so I reached in and took a wing . Lord have mercy from the first bite I was doing the happy dance). Rice and peas slamming , and then JAMAICAN TOMATOES oh God help me. Yes I ate two plates, bout to go walking in a few.
ESPECIALLY families and groups of friends would have a blast at this place. YOU SHOULD GO.

We booked this through Barnett’s tours and we had a blast on this river tubing experience. Felt safe and secure in the hands of our guides and had a great time along the way!

Definitely for the adventurous. The tour guides and workers were great too. Curried ackee and saltfish was wicked awesome. Wouldn't recommend the river tubing for small children or children under 9, but they can do the other activities. The speed of the river current depends on the season and the weather. It is a lazy river in drier times and in the rainy season it has a mix of lazy and swifter moving waters.

It was the best river tubing I have ever done in Jamaica. The tubing can last anywhere from 20 minutes to 40 minutes depending on where you want to get off. However, it is not for the faint of heart or those who don't like to get dirty. Sometimes the river current would cause my floaty to lightly bump into the river bank and the tour guide would have to get me out of the position. It's definitely an adventurous place and the property and backdrop of Westmoreland are beautiful and scenic. Staff and food are great. Hopefully, I return next summer.

This was definitely the most fun I've ever had in a river. First of all, the river water was beautiful - pictures do it no justice. Secondly, it was a hot day - so the water was absolutely amazing. The best part was relaxing in the natural Jacuzzi and enjoying a clay massage. I felt so relaxed and refreshed after this experience. I would come back again and again! Definitely a hidden gem!
note: Bring water shoes, bug spray and get ready for a good time!

Everyone should put this adventure on their list. We did and it was great, this was one of the best time I had experienced. The river was a lot of fun, the workers were very professional and friendly and the food was good. Can't wait to visit again.

We had a blast with Yardy River Adventure Tours. The guides were great, the water was crystal clear and beautiful! The water level was high so we had a great time tubing. The natural jacuzzi and clay bath at the end was also nice.

We visited here as part of a tour with Barrett Adventures. It's a newer company just starting out. Our guides Nigel and Orlando were great and worked hard to make our experience amazing. River is very pretty. Water level was low so river wasn't too fast. We did have a few easy Rapids. Prob class 1. At most class 2. There was one part we had to walk around Bc river level too low and there was a big drop off ( if water higher u would be able to tube it). There is a "natural jacuzzi" at e end that was very neat. Reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the trip was quick. If river level high and water running fast trip would be very fast. Wonder if they would offer multiple trips. Cost we were told was $13-$14 dollars. Would recommend this tour. Was a lot of fun!
