Yoshi's Beach House Reviews

Yoshua’s place was as advertised and exactly what our family was looking for. We wanted close to the beach front, somewhat isolated, peaceful, simple luxury and it checked all the boxes. We loved Playa Negra and enjoyed excursion into the heart of Puerto Viejo, Playa Cocles, Cahuita National Park, and more. We would definitely stay here again!

Yoshi’s place is a great place to stay, the location is fantastic and it’s very relaxing to come home to after a day of adventures in puerto viejo

This was a last minute booking to just get away from the rain from the pacific side of the island. WOW what a find. the deck is to die for. Hammock anyone. A couple of places we walked to for breakfast and dinner. Beach is beautiful. Iguana in the tree (all day) and saw many many birds.

Yoshua’s house is amazing, spacious and surrounding by stunning nature. You can hear the ocean from your bedroom and if you are lucky you can see a slot from your balcony. We spent the weekend and we have a lot of fun. Definitely highly recommend.

Must stay when in Puerto Veijo. The house is beautiful and well equipped on a very high standard. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Yoshi is also a great host. He replies to messages immediately and provides helpful information about the area. Thanks Yoshi!

Séjour parfait dans une superbe maison moderne avec la déco soignée. Maison très propre avec plusieurs produits à disposition. Merci Yoshi pour l’accueil, et les conseils et informations. Plein d’activités dans le secteur et de nombreux restos. Si nous revenons au Costa Rica , nous reviendrons chez Yoshi.

Yoshua’s house is super comfortable, with incredible ventilation, very spacious and cozy installations, and interesting details. It has a large kitchen, a comfortable dining area, and the rooms are cozy. The location is private enough and just 30 meters from the beach. It’s really a great place to stay, and I recommend it 100%.

We had a wonderful stay at Yoshua’s Villa. Such a beautiful home situated as close as you can get to the ocean! The upper deck and front patio areas were great for relaxing, the kitchen was well equipped, the bed was super comfortable and we loved the outdoor shower in the master suite. Lovely place to stay in Puerto Viejo!

This was a wonderful place! It was very tidy, well provisioned, the lighting was really nice and the upstairs terrace was fantastic. Hanging in the hammocks and listening to the sound of the waves and birds was mesmerizing. It was also fun to be able to enjoy the storms roll in while sheltered comfortably on the outdoor couches. We saw poison dart frogs, tropical birds, geckos, and other cool insects. The host was great, the local contact very responsive, and we felt right at home. Being able to cross the street and hit the beach was amazing. The fully open-air concept in the main area on the first level was a bit surprising since we couldn’t quite gather that from the photos. It meant that once we left the air conditioned bedrooms it felt like we were outside while we were cooking, eating, watching TV, etc.. The master bed shower was also open concept, which was quite cool, but it took a bit to get used to having a reptilian audience (cute little lizards) every time we showered. 😃

We enjoyed our stay here, Yoshua was super sweet, he helped us with recommendations and gave us things to do. His house is a really beautiful beach house, la playa Negra is across the street so we went there and enjoyed the beach. Never heard about the carribean side of costa rica and was really impressed, full of afro Latinos and carribean people. You can hear music playing outside and the ocean breeze from the house it's so nice. The food and drinks at the resturants around the airbnb were fresh and delicious. He gave us fresh towels when we ran out and provided water as well. Each room has its own bathroom, and the downstairs has a outdoor shower that was really pretty. Beautiful home, the best places I have stayed in! Thank you for having us!!!!

Yoshus’s Place is beautiful, remote, and private. The house was spotless and immaculate. Access to the location was effortless. Beach access is right across the street. The property had an outdoor shower to wash off from the beach when walking into it. There is a spotless kitchen and a local grocery store up the street for shopping to stock up on food. There is no reason to leave this property. It is beautiful and has everything you need to enjoy your stay.

We had an amazing stay at Yoshi's House. Beach directly across the street was great for our kids and not as populated as some of the other beaches near town. Easy to get to market, kids loved walking there in the morning to get a breakfast snack. All in all we have a fabulous stay. We highly recommend staying at Yoshi's house.
