Wonderful experience... Genuinely a lifesaver, I enjoyed every bit of my experience at the hospital. I was able to get rightfully diagnosed and given the right medication. I made friends I'm still friends with to this day. The facilities are beautiful and tranquil, you feel like you're staying in a resort. You're able to buy food and drinks even if it isn't the designated time. They have a lot of options for it. And genuinely, the experience is wonderful. The only complaint I'd have is the staff. I had an experience where I was bleeding and was sent to the main sister in my ward and instead of talking me through ways I can prevent getting hurt again, she lectured me about how my 'act' can affect the longevity and perception of the hospital. Basically telling me it's my fault if they get in trouble, which definitely didn't help my already damaged mental health. But other than that experience it was great, they treat you well, as long as you're listening to the rules, and your stay is carefully looked after. I genuinely love Zwavelstream. I came all the way from Dubai to go to the hospital and I will definitely do it again if I am placed in that situation.

At your own risk Right now I’d advise patients to think twice about coming here. There is a very serious bug going around and it’s landing people in hospital including myself. I’d say eat for whatever that’s going o here to subside then maybe consider. I haven’t been able to attend my group sessions and my psychiatrist session due to being sick. It’s really been a horrible experience

A pleasant experience at a precarious time. All I will say is "yes" - I was treated by a psychiatrist, a psychologist, a social worker, and physiotherapists. along with the stunning nurses! I've been to a few places such such as this and I can tell you that the bar is set high at Zwavelstream; the rooms, albeit shared, are quite private, the grounds are in a nature reserve and well kept. It's unusual to find a place that treats people such as those Zwavelstream accommodates and not have it feel like a regimented prison which lacks any form of quality whatsoever. Zwavelstream clinic saved my life. The doctors and staff show so much care and concern for their patients. The facilities are stunning and the programme really works. The bed areas are clean and comfortably arranged. I will never consider any other psychiatric facility, Zwavelstream is world class. I was under the care of Dr Erasmus and Dr Bing and could not recommend them highly enough. The staff work hard to ensure your comfort and happiness. Very lucky to have had the experience I did at Zwavelstream.

Will recommend to anyone I was there for 2 weeks and all I can say is wow!! The reception staff was so warm and welcoming and friendly. Lucky made me feel at ease as I was struggling and stressing about the admission. Nicholas and Jackie also wow was there to assist any time with a smile. The nurses are friendly and very helpful. Even the cafeteria staff friendliness overload it was a great pleasure especially the staff members they do they best and work very hard at making you feel at home. The classes i did made also a huge difference! you learn so much and when i left there I had so many tools to work with to help me cope with the daily challenges i face. Also Dr Bosmann ( psychiatrist) and Dr Wilfred Khanyi (Psychologist) they really pulled me through!!! The place is amazingly beautiful by the nature and the calming effect the surrounding nature gives you! and also the food is top notch!! No complaints at all and i will recommend Zwavel Stream Clinic to anyone and everyone who needs it! Thank you guys keep up the good work! xxxJackie!

Best Psychiatrist ever! I had the privilege of staying at Zwavelsream for 3 weeks. It was easily the best time I've ever had, apart from the obvious hard times, Dr. Van Schoor is a lifesaver, I've been with her since I can remember. Now throw the best psychiatrist in with the best clinic and you have a winning team to pull you through.
