Truly a once in a lifetime safari experience! The booking process through email/Whatsapp was very smooth with Erica's expertise. We also managed to see so many animals in Serengeti and Masai Mara including all the big five animals, thanks to our guide Freddy Mollel. He is such a great guide/driver/photographer - we enjoyed our time with him so very much! Overall good arrangement of accommodations which were comfortable, super luxurious, in great location and with great views. Singita Mara River was absolutely outstanding. My favorite ever hotel. Hope to book with them again in the near future. My honest recommend...

Amara Safaris was helpful and responsive every step of the process since the very beginning. Tommy designed our amazing trip to Tanzania. He spent time figuring out what my family was interested in and created the best safari itinerary. Our Serengeti stay was fabulous. We stayed at the Olakira migration camp, where everyone was wonderful. Our guide, Mikey, was top notch and went out of his way to make sure our game drives were spectacular. We saw lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, and a host of other animals. The Olakira team was super accommodating and the food was great. The Manor Lodge at Ngorongoro Crater was also wonderful. It was a beautiful lodge with luxury accommodations and amazing food! Altus, the manager, and his team were very inviting and helpful. Overall, Amara Safari made sure that every detail was taken care of — once we landed in Tanzania, we didn’t have to worry about anything. I would absolutely recommend Amara Safari to all my family and friends.

We've had an amazing seven days in Tanzania with our safari guide Moses. Especially the walking safari we did in Tarangire left a lasting impression. Seeing a lot of animals from close by is a really special experience. The safaris in Serengeti were better than we could have dreamed, especially the lions we saw from very close were unforgettable. Sleeping in a luxury tent in Serengeti was a wonderful experience with the sounds of lions, hippos, buffaloes, etc just outside our tent. The wildebeest migration in the northern Serengeti is a must-see. Lifetime experience with Amara Safari.

My husband and I recently booked a luxury Tanzanian trip to celebrate our 5 years marriage anniversary. We went with Amara Safaris and it was more than anything we thought it would be because they went out of their way to make sure we get a memorable experience in the jungle of Africa. From champagne breakfasts, to under the stars dining experience it was just magical. It felt like we got married a year or so ago because of how everything worked out for us. Thank you for the amazing adventure Amara Safari! This was my first time in Tanzania and Africa. It was spectacular! We saw so many magnificent views of the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire. We were able to observe the big 5 as well as dozens and dozens of other beautiful species. This trip was above and beyond our expectations thanks to our fantastic driver, Michael! He took such great care of us and made us feel so welcome. He was a wealth of knowledge about all aspects of Tanzania. I truly felt like I made a friend over our 8 day safari with Mikey. My partner and I spent 14 days on safari around East and South Africa. Organizing the safari was really easy and the director, Tommy, was happy to customize our itinerary to suit us. We had an entire 6 seater safari Land Cruiser to ourselves so never had to worry about battling for photos and we could spread out and make ourselves comfortable throughout. The accommodation were luxurious and the food were fantastic, but the highlight was obviously seeing an incredible array of animals and landscapes as we made our way across Tarangire, Ngorongoro, The Serengeti, then Kruger to Sabi Sands in South Africa. This was all possible because of our amazing guides Baraka in Tanzania and Katlego in South Africa. They were kind, funny, and always seemed to know where the animals were. In fact, they were so good that all the other guides were constantly stopping or calling over the radio to get tips from them, especially Baraka. If you have Baraka as your guide, then you know you are in good hands. I couldn't recommend amara safaris more highly.

We booked our trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar through Erica at AMARA SAFARI. She did a phenomenal job of arranging our trip and every detail was taken care of. We asked to see the migration and were set up with under canvas And Beyond in the south Serengiti, which was absolutely wonderful. Next we traveled to Namiri Plains to see the big cats, also wonderful. Zanzibar was our final destination - a place to relax after Safari. The Zawadi hotel was exquisite. Amara managed everything, including transfers. I also appreciated using the Vamoos app which was a great asset in seeing what was next on our agenda. I appreciated the attention to detail, like recommendations for tipping, which I often find stressful. I'd have no reservations in recommending Amara to anyone!
